A Cute Camping Scene with our Guest Designer, Clair

We hope you enjoy today’s inspiration and join us for the Create a Scene challenge! We can’t wait to see your creativity! This challenge will be open until Sunday, May 1 at 11:59PM ET.

Our wonderful Guest Designer, Clair is back with another charming card for Create a Scene!

It’s a bright sunny day at the bear family’s campsite! A perfect afternoon for a picnic or a nap! Clair created the background with Sunburst Backdrop, with lovely inking. Then she set the scene using a tree from Let’s Play and a branch from A Bug Deal. She added a grassy border and Simple Puffy Cloud Frames.

Then she added Build-A-Campsite, picnic food from Crazy Antics and the bears from Den Sweet Den!

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing Create a Scene cards with us for this challenge, Clair! All of your wonderful details make your cards so inspiring! We are so happy that you joined us as our Guest Designer! Be sure to check out her cards on Instagram, @clairs.cards

Jessica’s Let It Snow Bears

Our Holiday Critters challenge will be open until Sunday December 5th at 11:59PM ET. We can’t wait to see your creativity!

Good morning!  Jess here with a card for our current Holiday Critters challenge!

To start I blended Speckled Egg, Salvaged Patina, and Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink onto a panel of distress cardstock.  I let it dry and then applied Yeti White pigment ink over one of the Snowflake Background Stencils using a blending brush.  I removed the stencil and let the panel dry completely.

While it was drying I stamped some of the cute bears from Den Sweet Den and Snow Much Fun with River Rock no-line ink.  I used cool grey Copic markers and R00 and did a little no-line coloring of my polar bears.  I die-cut them with the coordinating dies and then die-cut the Giant Let it Snow and one of the Mini Snowflakes from silver glitter cardstock.  I also die-cut two Stitched Hillside Borders from white and Pixie Dust cardstock.

Once my background panel was dry I adhered my hills and then added the sentiment.  I arranged the baby bears as if they were climbing all over the sentiment and added the patient mama bear to the scene to finish the card!

And that’s it!  You one more weekend to get crafty and I can’t wait to see your holiday critters!!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing weekend!

Jess
