Mimi put her creative skills to work filling the Berry Special jars with candy from lots of different sets including the tiny ghost and pumpkin from Spooky Village (be sure to check out the supply list below). She combined Stadium Seating and Window Frame to create the backdrop then she set about add all the Halloween fun!

She filled the Apple-solutely Awesome baskets with candy from Costume Party and Purrfectly Wicked Add-On. Then she created the amazing gumball machine using a pot from Garden Before ‘n Afters and the small balloon from Really High Five! She fashioned the turnkey using a tiny motif from Just for You. The large jack o’ lantern is found in Happy Howloween!

Samantha’s Holiday Cup of Cheer

Samantha joins us today to share a gorgeous Christmas card!

Samantha cut the Stitched Poinsettia and Stitched Mug Frame from white cardstock so she could add color with Distress inks! She first did a watercolor wash then she blended on more ink to add vibrancy to the color! She made a fun shaker element by adding acetate to the mug and filling it with clear and silver sequins!

I love the details that Samantha added to this gorgeous design; the splatters on the mug frame and poinsettias and the pattern in the background with Simple Stripes: Diagonal! She also included a sentiment from Window Scene: Winter!

This card is so beautiful, Samantha! Thank you for inspiring with us today!

Christy’s Sweet Holiday Card

You’re invited to share your Coffee, Tea & Treats projects by linking up your photos HERE! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers and focus on coffee and/or tea and yummy treats.  This challenge will be open for 3 weeks closing on Sunday, November 6 at 11:59PM ET.

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Coffee, Tea, or Treats Challenge! For this one I decided to make a sweet holiday card, with mice topping off some hot cocoa with marshmallows.

I combined images from Snowball Fight, Thanks A Latte, and Deck the Halls. The branches from Deck the Halls were stamped in Noble Fir Ink. All the rest were stamped in Jet Black and colored with Copic markers. I trimmed them all out with the matching dies.

Then I created a background using some patterned paper. I chose a white and gray print from the Let It Shine Starry Skies 6×6 pad to be my wallpaper and a pink heart print from Knit Picky Winter for my tablecloth. Then I arranged the images into a fun little scene using a combo of foam tape and liquid glue. I also added a sentiment stamped in Bubblegum Ink and trimmed out with an Everyday Sentiment Banner, and a bit of Star Dust Stickles for some shine.

If you’d like to watch how this card came together, you can check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty! Thanks so much for stopping by!
