Merry Christmas from Lawn Fawnatics!

Hey everyone Samantha here wishing you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season! Today I am sharing a fun Christmas card using a variety of Lawn Fawn stamps, including my new favorite set called RAWR! The dinosaur is happily building a tiny little snowman in a wintery landscape. The snow is created by layering the Puffy Cloud Border. Tiny pine trees from Yeti Set Go scatter across the snow to create depth and dimension.

There is still time to enter the Lawn Fawnatics Use Your Favorite Lawn Fawn Set Challenge, please check out the design team inspiration. Maybe you are getting a new favorite stamp from Christmas, so this give you a fun reason to start playing with it! Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Everyone at Lawn Fawnatics wishes you a happy holiday and lots of joy in the new year!

Christy’s Beautiful Merry Wishes Card!

Challenge 19 will be open until Sunday December 31 at 11:59 PM ET. We can’t wait to see how you will use your favorite Lawn Fawn sets!

Christy joins us today to share a gorgeous card and a story about her sweet inspiration!

Hey friends! It’s Christy here with another Christmas card using one of my most favorite Lawn Fawn Holiday sets: Cheery Christmas! For today’s card, I wanted to color the little reindeer to resemble a sweet albino deer named Olive that lives in the woods on my street. They say it’s lucky if you catch a glimpse of her — so far my hubby and all three of my sons have seen her, but I haven’t yet. I’ve seen plenty of pictures that neighbors have shared though, and I can’t wait see her for myself.

Even though Olive is a doe, I took a little artistic liberty and made her a stag for my card, because I wanted to hang those cute little ornaments in the antlers. I also gave her a squirrel friend and a little scarf from Baaah Humbug so she can be nice and cozy! I colored my images with Copic markers and then die cut my focal panel using the Large Cross Stitched Square Stackables and a Stitched Hillside Border for the snow.

The rest of my patterned papers were die cut using the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, the Stitched Scalloped Borders, and even a little selective die-cutting with the Stitched Party Banners to get that nice stitched detail on the flag end.

To finish up the card, I added a sentiment from Tiny Tag Sayings and a few shine marks on the ornaments with a white gel pen and some Nuvo Drops as a final embellishment.

I have a video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty, if you’d like to see how the whole card came together.

You still have a more than a week left to enter our Use Your Favorite Lawn Fawn Stamp Set Challenge! I do hope you’ll play along. I always love to see what you all create!

Wishing you all the most joyous of holiday seasons!
