Jenn’s Fall-themed Friendship Card

Jenn is here today to share our last Card Sketch inspiration project! And of course it’s a beauty! This challenge will close this Sunday, November 1 at 11:59PM ET.

This beautiful collage design starts with an ink blended Heart Stackables die cut. Then Jenn added fun images from Thanks a Latte and Big Acorn along with leaves from Jump for Joy! I love the joyful Fall colors in the palette that Jenn chose!

Jenn loves glittery sparkle, so she added subtle hints of Prisma glitter to some of the stamped and die cut images!

Thanks for sharing this gorgeous Card Sketch inspiration with us today, Jenn!

Samantha’s Woodland Scene Inspired by the Card Sketch

Samantha joins us today to share a beautiful woodland scene with a nod to the sketch! Our Card Sketch challenge will be open until this Sunday, November 1 at 11:59PM ET.

Samantha combined the “woods” sets: Into the Woods and Joy to the Woods to create this gorgeous design! The birch trees found in Joy to the Woods represent the columns in the card sketch. She left the sentiment in the same place as on the sketch. She white embossed it on vellum then fussy cut it out for a really elegant look!

Samantha colored the fox from Into the Woods and the little cardinal from Joy to the Woods with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to give her design a bright pop of color!

To create an awesome finishing touch before assembling the card, Samantha stenciled the Snowflake Trio on the Black Licorice background with white embossing paste.

Thank you for sharing with us today, Samantha! This card is just so gorgeous!

Christy’s Car Critters Christmas Card

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Card Sketch Challenge! This time I decided to flip the sketch on its side, but keep the focal panel and sentiment right side up. I was so excited to play with the Car Critters now that I have the Car Critters Christmas Add-on! So many fun and festive decorations!

I stamped my images in Jet Black ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I took the two straight lines in the sketch and replaced them with wavy ones so that I could put in some snowy Stitched Hillside Borders. And I created a winding road by adding strips of Storm Cloud Cardstock over the white. For the sky, I used a piece of my favorite bokeh print patterned paper from the Snow Day Remix 6×6 pad.

I adhered everything to a Mermaid card base and popped up the bottom snowy hill with foam tape. Then I added my images with a mix of foam tape and liquid glue. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto some Chili Pepper cardstock and trimmed it down with an Everyday Sentiment Banner and tucked it up under the front tires of the car to fit the card sketch. Then I finished it off with a little extra stamping of the music notes and Jingle Bells words and some Stardust Stickles for a little sparkle.

I also finished the sentiment by stamping on the inside of the card, which you can check out in the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty

If you haven’t used our Card Sketch to create something for our challenge, you still have time! This challenge will be open until Sunday, November 1 at 11:59PM ET. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
