Our wonderful Guest Designer, Catherine is back today to inspire you with a Ghostbuster’s themed card!

Catherine started this clever design by using Leafy Tree Backdrop and Stitched Tree Borders to create the dark and spooky background. The purple inked night sky adds to the spooky atmosphere.

For the Ghostbuster’s she used Car Critters and Tiny Friends. She got really creative and combined the circle window from Mushroom House with a ghost from Tiny Halloween to create the Ghostbuster’s emblem on the car! To finish adding all the fun Halloween details, she used Happy Haunting, Pick of the Patch, Happy Harvest and Spooky Village!

Thank you so much for sharing your awesome creativity with us for this challenge, Catherine! Your amazing projects have totally inspired me!

If you have been a past Guest Designer for us here at Lawn Fawnatics, we would love for you to grab this badge to post on your blog or other social media. Big thanks to all of our amazing Guest Designers!

Christy’s Happy Pup Fall Inspiration

Our Awesome Autumn challenge will be open until Sunday, October 3rd at 11:59PM ET

Hello friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Awesome Autumn Challenge! For this one, I wanted to take the sweet little pup from Joy to All and use him on a fall card. I paired him with images from Jump for Joy, A Bug Deal, Critters at the Dog Park, and a sentiment from Critter Chatter: Pets. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background I die cut a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the second largest of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and blended on some Peachy Keen Ink using the Cloudy Stencil for the sky, then added a bit of Celery Stick to the bottom for the grass. I did some splatters with a pale gold watercolor from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors. Then I stamped the rest of my sentiment in Walnut Ink on an Everyday Sentiment Banner.

I chose two patterned papers from the Sweater Weather Remix 6×6 pad and die cut them with the largest of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and glued them to an Apricot card base. Then I popped up my focal panel with Scotch 3M Foam Tape and adhered my images. As a final touch, I added a bit of Platinum Stickles on the leaves and some stamped swirls in Hippo Ink near the falling leaves.

If you’d like to see this cute card come together and how I finished off the inside, check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty!

Franci’s You Autumn Know Pop-Up Card

Our new challenge, Awesome Autumn is off to great start! We are having fun watching your entries fill up the gallery! This challenge will be open until Sunday October 3, at 11:59PM ET.

Franci is joining us to day with a super cute card to inspire you!

The You Autumn Know mice are having so much fun celebrating the first day of Autumn! Franci created a fun 3D card using Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up and filled it with fall leaves in soft colors and all those happy mice!

To give her card even more Autumn awesomeness, Franci stenciled the box using Fall Leaves Background Stencils.

Franci used acetate strips to attach the leaves and mice along with the tiny speech bubbles. It looks like the mice really are floating by with a message of love!

This is so adorable, Franci! Thanks so much for inspiring us today!
