It’s the last weekend for the Fun with Food challenge and we are closing out the inspiration with a super fun card by Jenn! She combined mice from Bubbles of Joy with Build-A-Gumball Machine to create a bubbly cute card!

Jenn colored the images and the gumball machine with Distress Watercolor Pencils on Distress Watercolor cardstock. To make the background look like popped bubbles, she used Paint Splatter Background Stencil with Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick. Then she stamped that encouraging sentiment from Bubbles of Joy!

She stamped the cute mice from Bubbles of Joy and Dandy Day with Jellyfish Ink before filling them in with the watercolor pencils.

Jenn assembled the gumball machine, filling it with gumballs and adding the bubble-blowing mice. And then she included a special detail, covering all the bubbles with Glossy Accents!

Thank you so much for this super cute inspiration, Jenn!

Hi friends, Sam here! I love this fiesta-inspired birthday card! I started by stamping Year Nine tacos, Thankful Mice cheese, Virtual Friends Add-On banner, Let’s Toast avocados, Be Hap-pea little tomatoes and Really High Five balloons! Whew!

They were all colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then I added some details with a white gel pen. Of course, I couldn’t resist adding some faces for all of the foods! ha! Then everything was cut out with their coordinating dies.

For the background, I used some white stencil paste and the Brick Stencil to add some tone-on-tone neutral texture. I love how that looks!

I heat embossed most of the sentiment with white embossing powder onto Black Licorice Cardstock, using the Harold’s ABCs stamp set. The rest of the sentiment was stamped in a rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks and then embossed with clear embossing powder onto vellum. It was also die-cut using the Fancy Wavy Banners.

Thank you so much for this adorable Fun with Food inspiration, Samantha! I love this fun and punny birthday card!

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Fun with Food Challenge! This card was inspired by a sunflower field in my hometown and also my husband’s cousin, who is a beekeeper! I combined images from You’re a Keeper, Yappy Birthday Add-on, Hive Five, Simply Celebrate Hangouts, Treat Cart, Happy Harvest, You Crow Girl, and All the Speech Bubbles. I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my focal panel, I cut down a piece of Bristol with the second largest Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and did a simple watercolor wash with Salvaged Patina and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Inks. Once that was dry, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom with black ink.

Then I trimmed down some patterned paper from the Favorite Flannel Fall petite pack with the largest Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I glued this to a Sunflower card base, popped up the focal panel with foam tape to add a bit of dimension, and then adhered my images with liquid glue. And, of course, I had to finish things off with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

If you’d like to see the whole process of this card’s creation, you can check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I hope you enjoy it! We can’t wait to see what you create for our Fun with Food Challenge. Have a honey of a day!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful card inspiration with us, Christy!
