Design Team Inspiration

I’d like to give a shout out to our amazing Design Team! They inspire us every month with their creative ideas! No matter what challenge I throw at them, they always dazzle! Thank you, I appreciate you all so much!

Christy‘s colorful scene features the sunflowers of Our Friendship Grows and the adorable squirrels of Let’s Go Nuts! She took advantage of the color inspiration to create glorious colors on the You Autumn Know leaves, so beautiful! Her sentiment is from Scripty Autumn Sentiments!

There are more cute squirrels and more colorful leaves on Mimi‘s playful design too! She also used Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop and the new Build-A-Birdhouse die set! The Let’s Go Nuts sentiment is stamped on signs from Build-A-Campsite. Mimi cut them twice to shorten them, totally clever!

Catherine created a fun closet inside the Ta-Da! Diorama! She filled it with cute clothes in our color palette. She found the clothes in Little Bundle and Ugly and Bright, the shoes in Plan on It: Fitness, the luggage in Car Critters Road Trip Add-On and the hat in Dad + Me! Be sure to check out her blog post for more of the clever details.

Samantha is at her whimsical best with this card combining Oh Gnome and Let’s Go Nuts! The bright, bold colors she chose give the images an adorable, cartoony look!

Karin used soft pastel shades of the inspiration colors! Her birthday card is made with Tropical Leaves Backdrop, Spring Flowers Backdrop, Center Picture Window Card Heart Add-On (birds), Spring Sprig and Scripty Congrats!

I love Franci‘s little “Hedgehugs” frolicking in the Fall leaves! She used Stitched Borders and Vertical Rainbow Stripes Washi tape to frame the little vignette!

Samantha inked up our Stitched Leaves and gave them cute faces with the smileys in I Scream, You Scream! She added a punny sentiment from You Autumn Know on a Fancy Wavy Banner. Then she layered it all on a shiny hot-foiled woodgrain background! So much shine!

Joyce stamped brightly colored leaves from Jump for Joy to create a cheery tag! She used the Lawn Fawn inks that coordinate with the inspiration palette, stamping on Vanilla Malt cardstock. Then she cut the rest of the Scalloped Circle Gift Tag from Raspberry cardstock. That sweet sentiment is also found in Jump for Joy!

Jenn used Distress Re-inkers to watercolor the Stitched Leaves and Small Stitched Leaves in lovely Fall colors! She added glittery gold hearts from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag then stamped a message from Simply Sentiments. She finished her design with a splatter of metallic gold watercolor!

Christy used every gorgeous color to great advantage in this beautiful card design! She created the Fly High scene with Stitched Mountain Borders and Mushroom Border. I love how she inked up the background components with deep, bold color! It’s a lovely backdrop for the brightly colored hot air balloons!

Samantha incorporated the inspiring color palette using Corner Rainbow Stencils. Next, she used Cloud Background Stencils to add white stencil paste clouds on the rainbow layer. Then, she embossed the sentiment from All the Clouds on vellum, cutting it with an Outside In Stitched Cloud.

Franci‘s adorable new baby card is double the sweetness! She used a simplified and softer version of the color palette to ink up a Dotted Moon and Stars Backdrop. She used the Portrait backdrop but turned it sideways for her landscape design! Then she used a classic set, Plus One, to add the cute storks and finished the card with a sparkly Scripty Hello!

Karin went for big and bold with her fantastic card! She gave the Giant Sending Big Hugs beautiful ombré color, then popped it up on a background inked in muted shades of the same colors. The white splatters add lots of interest as do the cute birds from Center Picture Window Card Heard Add-On and the Fancy Scalloped Rectangle.

As always, Samantha‘s card is a study in whimsy! By using the happy colors for the Oh Gnome images she made the color palette the star! The pink Mushroom Border is so much fun, layered over the Sunray Backdrop!

I love how Joyce used deep, saturated blues for the sky behind her brightly colored Fly High images! So beautiful!

Mimi brought in the color palette in a pretty tropical ocean scene! She used Lawn Fawn ink in Plastic Flamingo, Lemonade, Blue Jay and Juice Box to create the background. Then she brought in images from Fly High, Life is Good and our recent gift with purchase set.

I love how Catherine was inspired by the Color Board photo! She altered the Window Scene: Winter couch by selectively stamping to make a bench for viewing the art piece!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 WEEKS and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 145 – Inspired by a Book, Movie or Song tomorrow! We can’t wait to see how the new color palette will inspire you!

Samantha‘s rainbow backdrop is just right for her cute ocean scene! She used Smooth Sailing, Bubbles of Joy, Really High Five and Love Poems images. The background is Sunburst Backdrop and Stitched Wave Borders. She added her sentiment on a Fancy Wavy Banner!

The Just Add Glitter crew is bright and happy in Christy‘s rainbow coloring! She added some sparkle to the Finley’s ABCs rainbow to take it up a notch!

Joyce sends sweet messages in rainbow colors using You’re Just My Type and Love Poems! The Flower Market gray stripes are the perfect neutral background!

Samantha used deep, rich colors of fall in all the rainbow hues to create an extraordinary design! The mice from You Autumn Know are floating by the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait in this happy scene!

Santa’s got surfboards in all the colors of the rainbow in this fun Beachy Christmas card! I love how Mimi created the black sand beach and white caps in the ocean! So fantastic!

Franci opted to use just a few of the colors with charming results! Her card is simply adorable featuring the Fangtastic Friends!

Karin is sending some birthday love with a beautiful design! The inky background and colorful hearts are perfect with Scripty Love!

Catherine framed her amazing Out of This World scene with a Really Rainbow Stitched Rectangle Frame! I love how she included some cute mice from You Autumn Know in her fun space scene! She used a circle from Let’s Bokeh for the mice space helmets and included Full Moon in the scene as well.

Jenn‘s design is so clever! She didn’t stop with the amazing rainbow watercolor background! She even colored the Fangtastic Friends in coordinating colors! For the greeting she combined Finley’s ABCs and a Fangtastic Friends sentiment.
