Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Awesome Autumn Challenge! Autumn is full of cozy things like pumpkins, plaid, and colored leaves, all things I used on my first card for this challenge. For this one, I wanted to lean into the Spooky Season side of things using the adorable Halloween Mice! I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my focal panel, I cut down a piece of Bristol with the second largest Large Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackables and blended on Distress Oxide Inks. I started in the center with a little moon glow of Squeezed Lemonade. Then I added in Salvaged Patina, Pumice Stone, and Black Soot to create an eerie-looking sky. I splattered on water and white acrylic paint for stars. For the ground, I again used Pumice Stone and Black Soot, and tossed in a little Gathered Twigs. Once that was dry, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom with black ink.

Then I trimmed down some patterned paper from the Favorite Flannel Fall 6×6 pad with the largest Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I glued this to a Dolphin card base, popped up the focal panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension, and then adhered my images with liquid glue. As always, I had to finish off the card with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

If you’d like to see the whole process of this card’s creation, you can check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I hope you enjoy it! We can’t wait to see what you create for our Awesome Autumn Challenge. Have a spooktacular day!

Thank you so much, Christy, for sharing this delightful inspiration for the Awesome Autumn challenge!

Samantha has a beautiful card to inspire us today!

Autumn is my favorite season, and I love making cards for this cozy season! I stamped and colored the images from You Autumn Know, A Bug Deal, Bubbles of Joy and You’re Just My Type with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I did a whole lot of ink blending for the background starting with a white cardstock base. I used the new Autumn Breeze Stencil with Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade. I pressed my embossing ink pad through the stencil and then added some clear embossing powder on top and heat set it to lock in the color.

Then I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina for the sky. I also inked another panel with Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron before using the Stitched Hillside Borders to die cut out the layers.

Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then die cut it out with the Simple Wavy Banners dies.

Thank you for this beautiful Awesome Autumn inspiration, Samantha! I love how you clear embossed the stenciled leaves, so clever!

Going to the pumpkin patch is a one of the most Awesome Autumn activities of this season! And Mimi‘s super clever scene captures the fun so well! She stamped the pumpkin from Happy Harvest, masked it then stamped over with the Little Snow Globe: Bear to create the bear holding a pumpkin. And she also featured Simply Celebrate Fall, Pick of the Patch, Pick of the Patch Add-On and Hay There Hayrides!

Mimi created the pumpkin patch on a Stitched Wavy Backdrop: Landscape making it easy to tuck the images in the rows. She also used the bears from Den Sweet Den and Snow Much Fun to round out the fun Awesome Autumn scene.

Thank you for sharing your creativity with us, Mimi! I love this so much!
