Lots of Love Framed Valentine

Hi Fawnatics Friends, today it’s my turn to share some inspiration for our Lot’s of Love challenge! I decided to make a “valentine” with a positive message to decorate the top of my dresser!

I started by trimming my Gotta Have Gingham paper to fit the 5×5 frame. Then I die cut all the pieces: 3 Scripty Love from white cardstock, a Stitched Heart Stackable from Raspberry cardstock, and the stem and flower pot from Little Flowers from Cilantro and Narwhal cardstock. After laying out the design to see how it would all fit, I stamped the Harold’s ABCs phrases with Manatee ink. To finish I used Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to attach the die cuts!

I love how it looks sitting on the stack of books!

Our Lots of Love challenge will be open until Sunday, February 3 at 11:59PM ET. Check out the gallery, there are some amazing entries!

A Let’s Toast Pull Tab Card with Christy!

Hey friends, Christy here with a fun, interactive card for our Lots of Love Challenge! I had so much fun using the new Let’s Toast stamps and dies with the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-on!

To start, I stamped all my images from Let’s Toast, plus an egg, twice, from Eggstra Special Easter. I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. On the toaster pastry, I used Ballet Slippers, Moonstone, and Butter ink to stamp the sprinkles.

Then I trimmed out a Watercolor Wishes panel with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and used the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-on to cut a notch from the top. The remaining pull tab pieces I die cut out of white cardstock. I also trimmed down a “table cloth” out of white cardstock using the Stitched Scalloped Borders and stamped a sentiment at the bottom in Moonstone ink.

Assembling the Pull Tab mechanism is easy to do. Lawn Fawn has a wonderful video on their channel that you can check out and follow along. You can also find the entire process video for this card here on my channel, Christy Gets Crafty.

Once I had the focal panel done, I popped it up over some Perfectly Plaid Spring patterned papers that I trimmed with the Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and adhered everything onto my Ballet Slippers card base.

I hope that this has inspired you to make your own card or project for our Lots of Love Challenge! There’s still time to enter. We can’t wait to see what you create!
