Kate’s Reveal Wheel Birthday Card!

We are so happy to have Kate join us today to share a fun Reveal Wheel card with a Mermaid for You theme! She based her design on our Inspiration Board for our current challenge!

Kate created a gorgeous ink blended background in amazing ocean colors!

Christy’s Colorful Manatee-rific Card!

Hey friends, it’s Christy here today with another card inspired by our fantastic Inspiration Board. For this one, I knew I wanted to mimic the central light focus on the bottom middle photo, and also lean on the green and turquoise color scheme.

I stamped my images from Manatee-rific, You Are Sublime, and a few accessories from Party Animal, then colored them in with Copic markers. I decided to throw in some purple to round out my palette, even coloring the manatee with some grayish purples for a splash of fun!

After I trimmed out my images with the matching dies, it was time to work on my background. I used Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks, sponging it on in a circular pattern to make the center almost look like it glows. I sprinkled on some water and blotted it up with a paper towel.

To give focus to my panel, I added a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame, popped up with thin strips of foam tape. I adhered my images with foam tape as well, to create some depth in the scene. As a finishing touch, I added a few clear droplets and some Crystal Stickles for a little bling.

A Cute So Jelly Card by Samantha

Samantha M shares a cute ocean-themed card to inspire your Mood Board challenge creativity!

Samantha created a whimsical underwater scene using Distress inks, then she added the streaks of light by painting with watered down white paint!

The cute So Jelly critters were colored using Zig watercolor markers! Samantha added detail with a white gel pen, then some Wink of Stella and finally a coat of Glossy Accents to make them shine!
