A Happy Fall Peekaboo Pop-Up Card with a Guest Designer

We hope you are having fun with new Change the Scene challenge! This challenge closes this Sunday, September 4th at 11:59PM ET. We are looking forward to seeing your creativity!

Today we have inspiration from a guest designer from Lawn Fawn HQ! Jessica Spencer is filling in for this 5th Wednesday of the month to bring you a delightful Change the Scene idea!

Jessica started with the new Peekaboo Pop-Up interactive die, cutting the main die from Let it Shine Starry Skies and Knit Picky Winter patterned papers. For more details about assembling the Peekaboo Pop-Up, check out the intro video HERE.

Then she created a charming Build-A-House, decorating it using Build-A-House Spring Add-On. She added the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait, combining it with the tree topper dies from Tree House.

Next, she added the sun from Spring Showers and smiley cloud from Stitched Rainbow to the pop-up piece. They will rise behind the house when the card is pulled open to change this happy scene. The only stamped element is the Simply Fall Sentiments greeting.

I love all the different textures, fall colors and the variety of cardstock and patterned paper that Jessica used.

Thanks so much for popping in with this super fun inspiration, Jessica!

Christy’s Tea-rrific Day Inspiration!

We can’t wait to see your Challenge 129 – Fun with Food creativity! This challenge will be open until Sunday, July 31 at 11:59PM ET. Let’s see who has the recipe for crafty fun!

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Fun with Food Challenge! For this one I decided to make a fun birthday tea party card featuring Tea-riffic Day, Tea-riffic Day Add-on, and the banner from Scent with Love. I stamped all the images in Jet Black ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I die cut the Tree House out of Kraft cardstock and the tree top and Slimline Grassy Hillside Borders out of Cilantro cardstock and added some definition with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Vintage Photo on the Kraft and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn on the Cilantro. I also created a sky using a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with Salvaged Patina and the Cloudy Stencil.

I cut the door of the Tree House out of Peacock Cardstock and the trim from Ground Coffee and glued those into place, then glued the grass and tree to the sky and trimmed the whole panel down with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

I stamped a sentiment from Reveal Wheel Friends & Family Sentiments and glued the focal panel to a Peacock card base. Then I added my images and finished up with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

If you’d like to watch this card design come together, you can check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thank you, Christy, for sharing this beautiful inspiration today!
