Karin reached way back to 2011 to use the Critters in the Forest tree as a Christmas tree for her lovely design! She added gift packages from Toboggan Together and trimmed the tree with ornaments from Cheery Christmas. To add a special touch of shine, Karin covered the ornaments with Clear Glaze. The dramatic backdrop was created with Distress Ink in Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. Finally, she added a sentiment from Offset Sayings: Christmas.

I hope that Karin’s beautiful Christmas card has inspired you to create some Christmas in July cards! Be sure to link them up by 11:59PM ET on Sunday, August 6. Click HERE to see the challenge post.

Thank you so much for creating this gorgeous inspiration, Karin!

Hi Friends, Samantha here! What’s better than a summer campout with good friends and good s’mores? These squirrels are having the time of their lives!

All of the images from S’more the Merrier, Let’s Go Nuts and Critters in the Forest were stamped with Jet Black ink and then colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Then I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. I added some details to the images with a white gel pen! I used Distress Inks in greens to add color to the hills and grass that were die cut from white cardstock.

I used Distress Inks to ink blend the night sky, too. Then I splattered some white acrylic ink and gold paint on top to mimic stars! The sentiment was heat embossed in white onto some Black Licorice Cardstock. I popped a few of the squirrels up with foam tape for some dimension! My favorite squirrel is that one peeking out from behind the trees with a few marshmallows! Sneaky little guy! Lol!

Thank you so much for inspiring us with this super cute card, Samantha!

Franci’s Critters in the Forest Scene!

Franci joins us to share a super fun forest scene for our Create a Scene challenge!

Franci’s happy scene features one of our classic sets, Critters in the Forest! She added some clouds from Butterfly Kisses and used the speech bubble from Oh Gnome! to add the cute sentiment!

For the background, Franci blended Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China Distress ink. She added detail with a Stitched Border along the bottom of her scene!

Thank you for sharing this adorable inspiration with us today, Franci!
