Samantha has a beautiful card to inspire us today!

Autumn is my favorite season, and I love making cards for this cozy season! I stamped and colored the images from You Autumn Know, A Bug Deal, Bubbles of Joy and You’re Just My Type with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I did a whole lot of ink blending for the background starting with a white cardstock base. I used the new Autumn Breeze Stencil with Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade. I pressed my embossing ink pad through the stencil and then added some clear embossing powder on top and heat set it to lock in the color.

Then I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina for the sky. I also inked another panel with Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron before using the Stitched Hillside Borders to die cut out the layers.

Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then die cut it out with the Simple Wavy Banners dies.

Thank you for this beautiful Awesome Autumn inspiration, Samantha! I love how you clear embossed the stenciled leaves, so clever!

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Bingo Board Challenge! For this one, I went with the top row across, because I really wanted to make an interactive card using the brand-new Pull ’n Slide Surprise! But first, I needed to tackle the coloring. I pulled together images from Year Nine, Make Lemonade, All the Party Hats, You Autumn Know, Forest Feast, and Crazy Antics. I stamped all of my images in Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Next, it was time to create the Pull ’n Slide Surprise mechanism. I cut the main piece from some yellow Bitsy Blooms 6×6 patterned paper, added the stabilizers to the back, folded along the score lines, and added some 1’4” Double-sided tape to the bottom edge. Then I cut the slider tab piece from some Sticky Note Cardstock and adhered them together. I cut another backer piece from some more Sticky Note and glued those together on the stabilizers. Then, while it was still relatively flat, I stamped my sentiment at the top.

I created a card base and covered it in some more Bitsy Blooms 6×6 patterned paper. Then I popped up the Pull ’n Slide Surprise mechanism in the center with some foam tape. Then all that was left was to glue on my images below the center score line, add a gift card inside, and finish with some Stardust Stickles.

I hope you enjoy it! We can’t wait to see what you come up with for our Bingo Board Challenge. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you, Christy, for sharing this delightful card inspiration!

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our There’s No Place Like Home Challenge! Since Pennsylvania literally means “Penn’s Woods”, I wanted to go to the forest for this one.

I started by combining images from a whole bunch of stamp sets, including Butterfly Kisses, Scootin’ By, Porcu-pine for You, You Autumn Know, Scripty Autumn Sentiments, Let’s Go Nuts, You Are Sublime, and I Like You (A Lotl). I stamped the images in Jet Black Ink, colored them with my Copic markers, and trimmed them out with their matching dies.

Then I blended Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol Cardstock. Working from the top down, I used Seedless Preserves, Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, and Bundled Sage. Then I die cut the Spooky Forest Backdrop out of another panel of Bristol and blended on Bundled Sage for the grass, and Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs for the trees. I did some splatter detail with the Vintage Photo and added some metallic watercolor splatter on the sky with the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors.

I added some 1/8” double-sided tape to the back of some of the branches so I could adhere my leaves to the treetops, then popped the Spooky Forest Backdrop over the background with foam tape and glued that to a Kraft card base. I adhered the rest of the images with a mix of foam tape and liquid glue. For the sentiment I stamped the word “hello” on the background, then stamped the word “fall” in Walnut Ink and used the matching die to cut it out. I finished off the card with some Stardust Stickles. I also did some stamping on the inside in Walnut Ink.
