We are so happy to welcome Mindy Baxter as our Guest Designer for this challenge! We know you will love her happy style and her amazing Copic coloring skills! You can find Mindy at her blog: My Creative Scoop and on Instagram!

Mindy’s adorable pair of cards feature the cute little critters from Smooth Sailing frolicking among the Puffy Cloud Borders! She added sweet color with ink blended pastel stripes and die cut greetings using Scripty Friends and Scripty Hello! You can find a video tutorial for these cards at Mindy’s YouTube channel.

Now let’s see how the Design Team was inspired by the Little Things theme!

Jessica‘s card is so sweet! She used little images from So Smooth and Cutie Pie! Her “basket” is strips of Knock on Wood paper woven together!

How fun and summery is Samantha‘s Goodie Bag? She stamped the little ants from Happy Summer on the kraft bag and decorated it with little images from So Smooth, Make Lemonade and My Silly Valentine!

Christy used the little images in Smooth Sailing to create a beautiful ocean scene with the help of Stitched Simple Wavy Borders, Rub-A-Dub-Dub, A Birdie Told Me and Mermaid for You!

Karin‘s beautiful mini card used the tiny flowers from Critters in the ‘Burbs paired with greenery from Spring Sprig on a Lacy Heart Stackable! The sentiment is from Bicycle Built for You!

Grace created a “cheesy” birthday card and gift box set! The little mice are from Wild for You and Elphie Selfie and the candle is found in Year Nine! The cute wedge of cheese is from our retired set Best Pun Ever but the cheese in Thankful Mice will fit here perfectly!

I love how the candle on the cheese matches the rainbow colored candle on the card! To make the cheesy holes in the Cake Slice Box, Grace die cut circles using the coordinating dies from Out of this World then backed them with yellow vellum, so clever!

Samantha M used alcohol ink on clear Yupo paper to make Puffy Cloud Borders waves for the Smooth Sailing sailboats and critters! This is such a beautiful and creative card!

Joyce used all the little images from On the Beach and a fun color palette on her card! She stamped her sentiment on layered Speech Bubbles die cut from Apricot and Narwhal cardstock.

These adorable little fish from Keep on Swimming are the stars of Franci‘s sweet and simple card! She finished her delightful card with Scripty Hello, a design with scored lines and inky splatters!

Jenn stamped the tiny images from Plan on It: Vacation to make a fun background for her sunny little card! The little palm trees from Palm Tree Border are featured in the pretty little scene! Even the greeting is the delicate little Hello Border!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 3 weeks and we’ll share our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 56 tomorrow!

I don’t know about you, but I want to hang out at Jessica‘s amazing beach! She used the Sunrise Backdrop to create an amazing background along with the Tropical Backdrop! The cute little Smooth Sailing critters add just a bit of whimsy!

Samantha‘s amazing beach scene features a fun interactive pull-tab! She combined Mermaid for You and Screen Time to create the children, so clever! The dolphin from Critters in the Sea jumps with the help of the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On! I love the punny sentiment using Harold’s ABCs!

With a simple ink blended background and cute images, Karin‘s Life is Good card is totally charming! Clean and simple design at it’s best!

Christy used the beautiful color inspiration on her gorgeous card! The colors in the ocean are so amazing! “Seas the day” with the adorable sailboats and tiny critters from Smooth Sailing!

Franci‘s fantastic shaker card is so adorable made with just die sets! She started with the Shadow Box Card Park Add-On to make the stitched window, then the scene is a combination of Palm Trees, Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add-On and Stitched Wave Borders! The greeting is Scripty Hello and she filled the shaker window with Chunky and Prisma glitter!

Samantha‘s adorable ocean scene combines Smooth Sailing with the cute Whale You Be Mine whale! She framed her sweet scene with the window from Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On and added cute detail with Lawn Trimmings Sky cord!

Joyce created an adorable beach scene using On the Beach and Sunrise Backdrop! I love how she used the sunrays to create a bright sunny day at the beach! All of the colorful beach accessories add to the fun of this amazing card design!

Grace made a super cute beach scene for a couple of the Life is Good crabs to frolic in! Underneath the Stitched Simple Wavy Border she hid a Slide On Over Waves channel so the crab and his buddy can slide around with the help of an acetate strip! She also used the Tropical Backdrop and Finley’s ABCs!

With a minimum of stamping, Jenn created the quintessential beach scene! She used a combination of Stitched Wave Borders and Stitched Simple Wavy Borders, a Stitched Hillside for the sand and Spring Showers for the sun and clouds! I love how she added the greeting from You Are Sublime on the sign post from Open Me! The palm branches are found in the Hammock and Trees die set!

Jenn used Lawn Fawn inks to add color to everything! She used Butter, Jalapeño, Fish Tank, Peacock and Minty Fresh!
