Happy Spring challenge will be open until this Sunday, April 18th at 11:59PM ET. We are looking forward to seeing your projects inspired by the challenge board!
Jess here with a card for our current challenge! I created a card using the challenge photos for inspiration!
To start I blended
Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink onto an A2 panel. I added a little Dried Marigold at the bottom in a curve to resemble the sun. Then I die-cut the Sunrise Backdrop die and blended more Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink over the sun and halfway up the rays. I made sure you could see the Dried Marigold Distress Oxide ink on the back panel and then layered them together with foam mounting tape.
Next, I stamped the bird, snail, grass, and flowers from
Gleeful Gardens and Fairy Friends and colored them with Copic markers before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies. I stamped the scripty part of the sentiment from Happy, Happy, Happy and die-cut it with the outline die. Then I stamped the other part of the sentiment from Tree Before N’ Afters and trimmed it down to a thin label. I die-cut the grass from Simply Grassy Hillsides and blended Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink over it. I adhered the grass to my sunny panel and then added the rest of the images to create my scene! Finally, I added the sentiment and a few white gel pen accents to finish the card!
And that’s it! You have one more weekend to get crafty and I can’t wait to see what you’ll create! Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing weekend! –

For her sweet and simple design, Karin started by ink-blending the sky with shades of blue Distress ink. She die cut the
Sunrise Backdrop and inked it up as well with warm golden colors!
The cute bird from
Special Delivery is singing a happy song to wish you a beautiful day! Karin used a sentiment from Swan Soirée to finish her lovely design!
