Mimi created the cutest city scene to inspire you today!

Mimi began this adorable city scene with a Large Stitched Rectangle inked with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, creating crosswalks using Sunray Stencil. Next she used the rectangle piece in the Magic Picture Changer Oven Add-On (you could substitute Small Stitched Rectangle or Small Mini Slimline) to make the four sidewalks, adding traffic signs and fire hydrants from Village Heroes.

She stamped all the images from Car Critters, Bubbles of Joy, Mice on Ice, Simply Celebrate Critters and Tiny Christmas with Jet Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers. She found the word “dream” in Fly High to stamp on the license plate. Finally, the white embossed the sentiment on Black Licorice cardstock to finish this super fun city scene!

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing card design with us, Mimi! I love your creativity!

Catherine was inspired to create a brilliant “Happy New Year around the world” card!

Catherine used Peekaboo Backdrop to divide the amazing geographical vignettes. She cut the backdrop from black glitter cardstock from the Autumn Sparkle pack. She created the background with Stitched Fireworks and colorful inking. Then she added more sparkle with Chunky Glitter. She added the greeting to the top using Winter Wavy Sayings and a small Simple Wavy Banner.

Please see the supply list below for links to the sets that Catherine used for each of the adorable little scenes.

Top left: New York City – Village Heroes (taxi and fire hydrant), Virtual Friends (waving mouse), Let’s Bokeh (clock and Time Square ball), Plan on It: Calendar (2023), Simple Road Border, Large and Small Mini Slimline Stackables (Time Square building).

Bottom left: Tokyo – Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On (Mt. Fuji), Build-A-Barrel: Apple (shrine), Bubbles of Joy (mouse), Let’s Go Nuts (scarf), Stitched Hillside Borders.

Top right: North Pole – Snow Cool (igloo), Crazy Antics (mice), Party Animal (party hats), Plan on It: Holidays (champagne glasses).

Bottom right: Kiribati – Beachy Christmas (palm tree), Happy Hugs (mice).

I absolutely love this clever design, Catherine! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful inspiration!
