Hi friends, Sam here! I love this fiesta-inspired birthday card! I started by stamping Year Nine tacos, Thankful Mice cheese, Virtual Friends Add-On banner, Let’s Toast avocados, Be Hap-pea little tomatoes and Really High Five balloons! Whew!

They were all colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then I added some details with a white gel pen. Of course, I couldn’t resist adding some faces for all of the foods! ha! Then everything was cut out with their coordinating dies.

For the background, I used some white stencil paste and the Brick Stencil to add some tone-on-tone neutral texture. I love how that looks!

I heat embossed most of the sentiment with white embossing powder onto Black Licorice Cardstock, using the Harold’s ABCs stamp set. The rest of the sentiment was stamped in a rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks and then embossed with clear embossing powder onto vellum. It was also die-cut using the Fancy Wavy Banners.

Thank you so much for this adorable Fun with Food inspiration, Samantha! I love this fun and punny birthday card!

Joyce put together a fiesta of flavorful foods to celebrate a birthday!

Joyce found her festive foods in Year Nine, Let’s Toast and You’re the Zest! For extra fun she threw in a piñata from Year Seven and cactus from Critters in the Desert!

She created a fun party with Fruit Salad paper and colorful banner from Virtual Friends Add-On!

To create the special birthday greeting, Joyce combined the sentiment in Year Nine with colorful Henry’s ABCs letters.

Thank you so much for this tasty taco treat, Joyce!
