So let’s see how the Design Team was inspired by this new challenge!

Caly used Little Bundle to create an all-over pattern of cute little baby clothes on her card! She used Scripty Congrats as her greeting!

Joyce used an adorable older set, Plus One to create her beautiful card! She framed the nighttime scene with Puffy Cloud Borders!

Christy‘s card is so adorable and perfect to welcome Kelly’s baby boy when he arrives! She combined Wild for You with scene building images from Critters in the Jungle! The sweet sentiment is from Hello Baby.

Karin also used the sweet critters from Wild for You to create the cutest clean and simple design! She included some cute toys from Rub-A-Dub-Dub, too! I love how she die cut the Oliver’s Stitched ABCs letters from metallic gold cardstock!

Samantha used the umbrella and raindrops from Plus One to create this sweet slimline baby shower card! She trimmed the top with Puffy Cloud Borders and added a Grassy Border on the bottom of this happy design!

Franci‘s card is so charming featuring the Little Bundle clothesline! Cute little baby necessities are popped up on the line and a sweet sentiment and cute birds finish this adorable design!

RAWRSOME and Just Stitching Hearts are a sweet combination on Samantha‘s clever card! She used a sentiment from Hello Baby!

I made a little card for Kelly using Lawn Fawn’s first and one of my favorite baby sets, Plus One! I added the sentiment on a Bannertastic banner and framed the cute stork with a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window.

Jenn‘s adorable welcome baby card set is quick and easy to make! It even includes a design for twins to double the fun! She used Quilted Backdrop to add sweetness then she added Oliver’s Stitched ABCs and cute little love bugs from Bugs and Kisses! This is a versatile design, just change the colors for a boy or girl!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 76 tomorrow!

Little Flowers and Buttons with Caly

Hi Friends! This is Caly with you today, sharing a card made with buttons for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! We’re bringing forgotten embellishments back and hope that you’ll play along!

Today’s card is made using the Little Flowers Lawn Cuts. These die-cuts create a potted arrangement of flowers and I’ve used little buttons to replace the floral centers. I decided to create a decorative window with a background accented by the Quilted Backdrop and framed by the Reverse Stitched Scallop Circle Windows. My top panel is attached over the quilted backdrop with foam adhesive so the window sits back a little.

I die-cut all of my elements using Lawn cardstock (Cilantro, Noble Fir, Ballet Slippers, Mermaid, Peacock, Apricot, Sugar Plum) and used coordinating inks to ink-blend and color the flowers to give them dimension.

After attaching all my flowers to the pot, I added foam adhesive to the back of the flowers and adhered it to my card so the flowers sit at the same height as the card panel. The pot is glued directly to the card top without additional height.

To give my die-cuts some interest, I added shimmer over the flowers and white gel highlights to the elements. The sentiment is from the Simply Sentiments stamp set and stamped over a Fancy Folded Banner. I did ink-blend a little around the edges to help the banner pop against the white background. Finally, to finish, I looped twine through another button and tied a bow to add one last embellishment to my card.

I hope you enjoyed this! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
