Joyce starts the Let’s Celebrate challenge inspiration with an adorable birthday card featuring Wood You Be Mine?

I love it when you can use a set for a totally different occasion! In this case, Joyce used our new Valentine set Wood You Be Mine? to create a super cute birthday card. She also used Falling Hearts Stencils for the background.

Also making an appearance in this fun card is the banner from Virtual Friends Add-On, a speech bubble from Say What? Christmas Critters and sentiments from Love Letters and Simply Celebrate Critters.

Thank you so much for this adorable inspiration, Joyce!

Christy’s Letters with Lots of Heart Inspiration

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the Lots of Heart challenge post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. The Lots of Heart challenge will run for 3 weeks and be open until Sunday, February 6th at 11:59PM ET.

Hey friends, it’s Christy with another card for our Lots of Heart Challenge!

For this one, I started by stamping out the mice and envelopes from You Autumn Know and Love Letters in Jet Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I wanted to create a background that resembled an air mail envelope. I started with a Blue Jay card base. Then I die cut the Peppermint Stripes Backdrop out of Specked Eggshell and Chili Pepper cardstocks. I used glue to attach the Speckled Eggshell frame to the Blue Jay card base and then filled in the stripes with Chili Pepper.

For the focal panel, I wanted something that resembled a postage stamp, so I die cut more Speckled Eggshell cardstock with the Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables. I stamped a sentiment at the top right in Deep Sea ink and adhered my images with liquid glue. I popped that up on the card with foam tape. As a finishing touch, I stamped a few tiny hearts in Bubblegum ink and added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to the heart seals and stamp on the envelopes.

If you’d like to see how this card came together, you can check out the video tutorial as part of my Valentine Card Series on my YouTube Channel, Christy Gets Crafty. If you haven’t yet entered our Lots of Heart Challenge, there is still another week! We can’t wait to see what projects you’ll come up with!
