There are so many of your entries that we would love to share but the photos you’ve linked us to are either too small or they don’t have enough space around them to allow for a consistent look on the blog. Here are some tips for uploading photos that we can share as Featured Fawnatics!

-Set up your photo with some space all around your project to allow for us to crop as needed
-Make sure your photos are at least 1000 pixels wide (we prefer sharing photos that are uniform in size)
-Use a light color as the backdrop for your photos; this helps your cards and crafts to stand out

Thank you for sharing your amazing creativity with us each month. We appreciate it so much! If you have any questions about uploading photos, please leave them in the comments below.

Happy Crafting from your friends at Lawn Fawnatics!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 38 – Awesome Autumn

It’s that time of year when the air turns crisp with a welcome chill, the leaves change color, pumpkin spice is everywhere and you can start wearing your favorite sweaters! That’s right, it’s Autumn! Even in Southern California there is a change in the air that tells us Fall is here! For our new challenge, let’s celebrate this happy time of year! Share with us your Fall-themed, Halloween and Thanksgiving cards and projects featuring Lawn Fawn products!
For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Let’s see how our amazing Design Team was inspired by this challenge!

Everybody loves a funny pun so Samantha M combined Spooktacular, Plane and Simple and Harold’s ABCs to create this punny charmer! The colorful background is so beautiful!

Samantha C created a sweet and spooky Halloween scene with some non-Halloween sets! She started with the house from Frosty Fairy Friends, the cute little critters from Coaster Critters and accessories from Holiday Party Animal then she added spooky ghosts and bats from Happy Haunting!

Karin colored the forest critters from Into the Woods and created a pretty Fall backdrop for them! The sweet Fall sentiment is also from Into the Woods! Some colorful leaves from Jump for Joy complete this clean and simple design!

Franci decorated a Scalloped Treat Box with adorable images from Costume Party! She included the cute little speech bubble from Cheery Christmas!

Jessica started with Knit Picky Fall papers to create a warm background for her Happy Fall design! She included fun Autumn themes of pumpkins and apples using Pick of the Patch and Thanks a Bushel! The cute bunny is from our Some Bunny set!

Christy‘s Jump for Joy card is filled with Fall color and a clever interactive twist…

…lift the pile of leaves for a sweet critter surprise! The cute little fox and owl are found in our Mom+Me set!

Joyce set the scene using Leafy Tree Backdrop and a beautiful ink blended sky! Her cute Autumn card features Happy Howloween and Jump for Joy!

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next two weeks and of course our Featured Fawnatics and Random Winner for Challenge 37 tomorrow!
