Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Spring Fling Challenge! When I think of Spring, the first things that come to mind are bunnies and flowers, so I knew that had to be the focus of today’s card. The adorable, new Carrot ‘Bout You stamp set worked perfectly as the star, and I also brought in a speech bubble from All the Speech Bubbles and two tiny butterflies from Butterfly Kisses. I stamped the images in Jet Black Ink, colored them with my Copic markers, and trimmed them out with their matching dies.

Next, I cut the inner part of the Secret Garden Window from white cardstock and colored it in the same shades of Copics as I had used on my images. I took a piece of the pastel rainbow striped patterned paper from the Rainbow Ever After 6×6 pad and trimmed it down with the largest Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, then cut out the center with the other part of the Secret Garden Window. I glued these two pieces together.

Then I took another sheet of patterned paper with a gorgeous sunset ombre look and trimmed off the bottom, then cut that out with the grass from the Mushroom Border. I popped that up with foam tape over the part I was using for my sky, then popped the frame over top as well. I glued this whole panel to the front of a Sticky Note card base.

I adhered my images with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and stamped the rest of my sentiment on Moonstone Cardstock with Forget-me-not Ink. I trimmed that down with an Everyday Sentiment Banner and glued that at the bottom of the window and finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

If you’d like to see how this card came together, you can check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty! And I’ll have another video using these sets on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel tomorrow, so stay tuned for that. We hope you’re enjoying our Spring Fling challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thank you so much for this sweet inspiration, Christy! This card is absolutely beautiful!

Christy’s Pumpkin Patch Card

We invite you to share your Awesome Autumn projects by linking up your photos HERE! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers and show us what you love about Autumn.  This challenge will be open until Sunday, October 2 at 11:59PM ET.

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Awesome Autumn Challenge! For this one I decided to make a fun pumpkin patch card, complete with black cats, and a full moon. I combined images from Purrfectly Wicked, Simply Celebrate Fall, Happy Harvest, and Jump for Joy. I stamped all the images in Jet Black ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I created a background by blending Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock that I’d die cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I used Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy, and Carved Pumpkin for the sky, and Bundled Sage for the Grass. Then I cut down a second piece with the Full Moon die and blended on Pumice Stone. Then I splattered both with some Liquid Stardust for a bit of shine.

I glued the background to the Fake Tan card base and added the moon with liquid glue, then popped the rest of the images up with foam tape, adding three leaves in the sky to give it some movement. Then I stamped a wind trail from Butterfly Kisses in Narwhal Ink behind the leaves in the sky. I stamped a sentiment from Simply Celebrate Fall in Jet Black Ink and trimmed it out with an Everyday Sentiment Banner. I also stamped on the inside of the card using Simply Fall Sentiments in Pumpkin Spice ink and finished with a bit of Platinum Stickles on the leaves.

Catherine’s Clever Mountain Platform Pop-Up

We hope you enjoy today’s inspiration! We can’t wait to see your beach or mountain creativity! The Challenge 126 – Beach vs Mountain is a 2-week challenge and will be open until Sunday, June 19 at 11:59PM ET.

Catherine is back with another cute and clever design to inspire you!

Catherine’s brilliant camping and zip-lining scene is so much fun! And adding it to a Platform Pop-Up makes it even more fun! She used Stitched Mountain Borders to create the 3D scenery along with Forest Border. She decorated the base of the Platform Pop-Up using Build-A-Campsite and a Butterfly Kisses bunny.

The Really High Five critters are zipping over the mountains with the help of acetate strips to suspend them. Catherine fashioned the zip-line using the triangle from Critter Concert. She used a line from a limited edition set but you could substitute with the clothesline from Little Bundle. And because “safety first” these wise critters borrowed helmets from Scootin’ By.

Catherine used the tree die from Build-A-Campsite to make a stencil to create scenery on the platform base.

Thanks so much for this totally adorable inspiration, Catherine!
