Hi friends, Samantha here! I couldn’t resist this time making a Harry Potter themed card!
So cute, right! Hedwig is the star and she’s bringing a Hogwarts acceptance letter with this birthday card! ha! I love it!

I stamped the images from Special Delivery, Critters in the Forest and Booyah. I colored in the owl and her accessories with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, but then I water-colored the trees! I think the water-coloring added a fun texture to the trees!

I used some Black Licorice Cardstock for the background. Then used some white stencil paste and the Lots of Stars Background Stencils to make the night sky. I love that bold look and how the trees POP against the black sky.

Then, I heat embossed the custom Hagrid inspired sentiment with Harold’s ABCs in white onto vellum, cutting it out with the Stitched Sentiment Banners.

Thank you so much for inspiring us today, Samantha!

Catherine created brilliant Happy New Year inspiration with our new Porcu-pine for You set!

Catherine began this festive party-themed card with a hot foiled Confetti Background layered behind Let’s Celebrate Backdrop! Then she combined Party Balloons and Outside In Stitched Balloon Stackables with Spiffier Speckles paper to add more party fun! She used Henry’s 123s to add the new year on the balloons, with glittery gold sparkle cardstock as a shadow.

Then Catherine added the cute porcupines with toasting the new year with champagne glasses from Happy Wedding. And of course, she finished the card with a cute pun, spelled out with Harold’s ABCs!

Thank you so much for this fantastic inspiration, Catherine!

The Happy New Year Inspiration Board challenge is open until December 31 so there’s lots of time to enter! We can’t wait to see how you will be inspired! You can link our entries HERE.

Jenn is back to share some charming Winnie the Pooh inspiration with us today!

Jenn created this adorable woodsy design with Woodgrain cardstock and the Large Mini Slimline die set. She added Puffy Cloud Borders to look like the treetop and bushes. Winnie the Pooh is played by our Really High Five bear, all he needs is a red t-shirt for a costume. The honey jar is from Milk and Cookies.

Then, Jenn included the bee and the sign from Berry Special. The hand-lettered sign is a fun detail!

Jenn stamped out the quote using Harold’s ABCs and Black Licorice ink.

Thank you, Jenn! This card is so adorable!
