Hello Fawnatics Friends! It’s time for a new challenge and we think you will love this one! It’s called Something Old, Something New and the idea is to pair an older Lawn Fawn stamp, die or paper with a newer stamp, die or paper! We just love that all of our sets play nicely together from our first set Critters in the ‘Burbs to our newest sets like Holiday Helpers and Winter Skies! We can’t wait to see your creative take on this new challenge theme! This challenge will be open until Sunday September 30th at 11:59PM ET.
For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!
Let’s see how our amazing Design Team was inspired by this challenge!
Samantha created a totally whimsical card that combines Milk and Cookies with our new So Owlsome set! She also used older Let’s Polka Mon Amie paper with our new Knit Picky Fall paper!
Karin combined our newer Quilted Backdrop and Spring Sprig with older Stinkin’ Cute and Scripty Congrats! Her gorgeous card is so perfectly crafted! I love the look of the delicate flowers on the wreath!

Joyce is so clever with combining older sets with new sets and she totally knocked this one out of the park! The ghosts from Booyah add a super fun and spooky element to the cute Pick of the Patch squirrel and jack o’ lanterns! She added lots of fun texture with our new Woodgrain cardstock!
I love how perfectly the cute elf from Holiday Helpers pairs with the adorable fairy from Frosty Fairy Friends! Jess combined these two sets beautifully! That adorable sentiment is from Winter Big Scripty Words!
Franci‘s delightful holiday card features our new set Holiday Helpers with cute little elves! She created a cool North Pole background with masking and ink blending! Her old set is Snow Day, with its perfectly lovely Merry and Bright greeting!

Franci even added a cute little scene to inside of her charming card!
Christy‘s adorable card features the older Critters in the Arctic and Chit Chat with the fresh new colors and patterns of Knit Picky Fall! She also used a brand new Reverse Stitched Scalloped Square Window to frame the adorable winter critters! Chit Chat is still one of my favorite sentiment sets!
Samantha created her signature inky background for this beautiful Winter Skies scene! How cute are the foxes looking at the moon! But there is a surprise inside…
…our Mini Pop-Up Box allows Samantha to add colorful Out of this World planets with cute hats and scarves! So much amazing creativity!
We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next two weeks and of course our Featured Fawnatics and Random Winner for Challenge 36 tomorrow!
