We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Let’s see how our amazing Design Team was inspired by this new theme!

Franci created a fun underwater scene featuring our Mermaid for You set! She added some whimsy with a sand castle made with Build-A-Castle! The cute puffer fish peeking through the window is from Keep on Swimming.

Samantha incorporated our new Giant Sending Big Hugs sentiment into her beautiful ink-blended ocean scene! She combined Ocean Shell-fie, Fintastic Friends and Life is Good to add all the cute critters!

Our cute Get Well Before ‘n Afters set features this adorable whale! Caly created an underwater scene for her Magic Picture Changer card! She filled in with fishy critters from You Are Sublime and Ocean Shell-fie!

Joyce created a slimline underwater birthday scene! With cute ocean critters from Ocean Shell-fie, You Are Sublime and Mermaid for You it’s quite the party! She used Ocean Wave Stencils to add the fun backdrop and Virtual Friends for the computer and sentiment!

Karin‘s sweet and simple framed design uses Smooth Sailing to depict a lovely day on the water!

Samantha‘s gorgeous glittery ocean is framed by Tropical Backdrop palms and the Hello Border! She added a lighthouse from Life is Good along with the kraken and ship from Lovable Legends to create a mythical scene!

Christy‘s beautiful underwater scene sends a sweet message with Giant Sending Big Hugs! She combined cute aquatic critters from Ocean Shell-fie and Fintastic Friends on a gorgeous inky ocean backdrop!

Jessica‘s beautiful design takes us to the ocean depths on a yellow submarine from You Are Sublime! Watch out for the kraken, he just wants to say happy birthday!

Jenn‘s three cute kitties are enjoying some fun at the beach in her fantastic design! She used Sunrise Backdrop to add the sunshine! She created this happy summer scene with Meow You Doin’, On the Beach and Life is Good!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 99 – Create a Scene!

Hello friends! It’s time for a new challenge and we have another favorite for you! For this challenge, use your creativity and your Lawn Fawn stamps and dies to create a scene!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, May 2nd at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

We are so happy to have a very talented Guest Designer joining us for this challenge! Say hello to Ashley Young! Her whimsical scene cards always make us smile and we know she will inspire you too!

Ashley‘s slimline scene features an amusement park filled with happy Tiny Friends! She used Coaster Critters images to set the scene along with the castle from Life is Good! A couple of princesses from Tiny Fairy Tale look right at home!

The “magical” greeting looks amazing with Chunky Glitter adding lots of sparkle! She combined the Finley’s ABCs with a sentiment from Unicorn Picnic!

Now let’s check out some inspiration from our very own experts in “creating scenes”, our wonderful Design Team!

Karin‘s fantastic scene features our cute Wild for You critters enjoying the nightlife with a fruity beverage! She created a silhouette with the Tropical Backdrop and Little Town Border filling the night sky with lots of stars!

Christy gathered some cute critters to do some gardening! She started with Some Bunny for all the gardening images, then added friends from Jump for Joy and Crazy Antics! She filled in the background with Grassy Border. I love how she used the “chip bag” from Crazy Antics to create seed packets, that is just so clever!

Samantha‘s kitchen scene starts with combining the Sprinkled with Joy stove with “cabinets” made using You’re Just My Type! Then she added lots of mice and yummy baked goods from A Creature Was Stirring and Bubbles of Joy! She used Spring Sparkle and Textured Dot Pastel cardstock for the background and finished the card with You’re Sweet Line Border!

Joyce set the scene for her Virtual Friends design with a patterned paper wall and White Woodgrain cardstock floor! She added cute details to her scene using books and the lamp from Den Sweet Den. While the cat from Keep on Swimming is celebrating a birthday with friends online his cute puffer fish is sending birthday greetings from his fish bowl!

Warm weather is coming so Samantha created an amazing beach scene! She filled the sunny sky with some puffy clouds from All the Clouds then she added waves and the sand with layers of Stitched Hillside Borders for the On the Beach fox and a rainbow colored umbrella!

Sometimes an amazing scene doesn’t need lots of scene building dies! Franci assembled whimsical images from Fox Costumes Before ‘n Afters with Baked with Love and Unicorn Picnic for maximum cuteness in her clean and simple style!

Jessica used Puffy Cloud Backdrop: Portrait to build this happy scene! The lovely pastel colors of the clouds are carried throughout the Bubbles of Joy bubbles and Scripty Bubble Sentiments! She added a sentiment from Thanks a Bushel as a finish for her adorable thank you card!

Caly stenciled pretty clouds using the Cloudy Stencil and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink. Then she tinted the hills of the Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Landscape with Mowed Lawn. This sweet scene comes together with images from Butterfly Kisses and Butterfly Kisses Flip-Flop!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 98 – Happy Spring tomorrow!
