Design Team Inspiration

Samantha C chose the vertical column under I with prompts; bright, critter, lawn cuts, stamp and cute! I think she nailed it with this bright and cheery card featuring unicorns from Unicorn Picnic and A Little Sparkle. She added Lawn Cuts dies from Stitched Rainbow, Starry Skies and Puffy Cloud Backdrop: Landscape!

Mimi was also feeling the unicorn vibe, but she went a totally different direction. Working with the elements in row 3 she used Unicorn Party Foiled Washi Tape and Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame. She colored the Dream Big unicorn with markers to create a happy birthday card! She spelled out the greeting with Finley’s ABCs and used lots of happy Rainbow Ever After paper too!

Joyce found her inspiration in the N column which contains heart, ink, birthday, cardstock and stencil! Her delightful card features stenciled heart balloons and confetti from Balloon Stencil along with the cute Really High Five critters with a birthday sentiment. She used Moonstone cardstock for the background and Moonstone, Forget-Me-Not and Manatee ink for the stenciling!

Karin used the prompts in the O column to create a happy, interactive card with mice and glitter! Her card features Happy Couples, with the flower arbor as the shaker window filled with colorful sequins. The Happy Anniversary sentiment is from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring. She also used foam squares to add dimension!

Franci chose the I column creating a bright and cute card with a critter made with Garden Snail Lawn Cuts! And to bring in a stamped element she added a sweet little sentiment from Butterfly Kisses!

Samantha‘s beautiful card is inspired by the G column! She used the Woodgrain Background Hot Foil Plate, then added rainbow inking on top. She colored the Hive Five images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers before using scissors to fussy cut them!

Christy found inspiration for her adorable birthday card using the top left to bottom right diagonal line! She used a paper trimmer to cut a panel for the ink-blended and Birch Tree stenciled background. She invited lots of critters from Simple Celebrate More Critters and Toucan Do It to a birthday party with a Giant Happy Birthday to You greeting!

Catherine was also inspired by the I column to create this totally clever design! She filled it with bright color, cute critters and Lawn Cuts dies with Stitched Root Veggies and Stitched Garden Veggies! Be sure to visit her blog for all the details for how she made this fun grocery shopping scene!

Following the G column, Jenn used two hot foil elements with Foiled Sentiments: Sending Rainbows and Cloud Background Hot Foil Plate: Landscape. She inked the background and the sentiment circle with rainbow colors and added more rainbows with My Rainbow!

  3. I’ve been doing the challenges to improve my card making and creativity. This challenge is a great idea. Kind of reminds me of the card making roulette challenges.
