Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 170 – Patterned Paper

We have a new theme for this challenge! It’s time to look through those patterned papers you have been hoarding and combine them in beautiful ways! For this challenge, we want to see cards and crafts featuring Lawn Fawn patterned papers!

You are invited to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, April 14th at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters a challenge has a chance to be the random drawing winner! Woohoo!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges, you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

Christy loves to use patterned papers in her designs, and the combinations always look so amazing. For this card she used pretty pastel paper from Rainbow Ever After. They are the perfect backdrop for her sweet Winter Birds scene!

Catherine created a brilliant patchwork “stuffed dog” to highlight the pretty Rainbow Ever After and What’s Sewing On papers. She pieced together the dog using Tiny Gift Box Dog Add-On for the head and Raccoon and Fox Add-On for the body. She also used the coordinating egg die from Chirpy Chirp Chirp for the body and Circle Stackables for the paws as well. The buttons and the sentiment are from Sewn with Love. And Catherine used Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait to create a “quilt”.

Mimi‘s card is Just Plane Awesome! She used papers from Rainbow Ever After and Into the Woods Remix to create wallpaper and a wood floor. Then she created her own “paper” to fill the Window Frame panes using Just Plane Awesome Foiled Washi tape! So clever!

Samantha made a sweet sewing themed design by combining What’s Sewing On paper with Sew Very Mice stamped images! She created cute little scenes on a Foursquare Backdrop: Landscape.

Karin‘s simple design has big impact with her brightly inked Giant Sending Big Hugs greeting! The Rainbow Ever After paper is the perfect background, layered on a black Fancy Scalloped Rectangle! I love the cute little birds from Happy Couples!

I love that Joyce used the pretty What’s Sewing On paper to create an adorable gift tag! It looks great with the cute Veggie Happy and Veggie Happy Add-On images!

The fun plaid papers give Franci‘s card a fresh farmhouse look! She combined our Stitched Garden Veggies and Stitched Root Veggies with cute smiling faces in a totally charming design!

Samantha combined papers from Really Rainbow and Into the Woods Remix Petite Packs to create a cheery birthday card! She cut the Outside In Stitched Balloons from the patterned papers. Then she added a greeting from Party Animal on a vellum Fancy Wavy Banner!

We will have more Patterned Paper Design Team inspiration right here over the next 2 weeksBe sure to come back tomorrow when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 169 – Inspired by a Book, Movie or Song!
