Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 55 – Mood Board & Color Inspiration

Happy Monday, Fawnatics Friends! Summer officially begins this Friday and we can’t wait!! Jenn created an amazing Mood Board and Color Inspiration for this challenge! It’s full of bold, bright color and a lot of the images that say summer to so many of us!

We would love for you to show us how you are inspired by this summery challenge theme by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, June 30th at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Grace recreated the Mood Board filling her card with lots of summery images from On the Beach, Life is Good and Happy Summer! She included the letters using Finley’s ABCs as fun shakers!

Christy‘s beautiful clean and simple card captures the summer vibe with images from On the Beach and Flamingo Together! Everything is colored in the bright bold colors of the inspiration!

Joyce‘s card combines all the wonderful feels of a lazy day at the beach! With On the Beach, Smooth Sailing and scene builders like Stitched Wavy Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders her Father’s Day card depicts a wonderful summer scene!

Karin found the inspiration for her adorable card from the colorful letters in the Mood Board! She colored the Cole’s ABCs die cuts to match the color inspiration and created a fun scene with critters from Butterfly Kisses and Eggstra Amazing Easter!

Franci created a fun clean and simple card using Smooth Sailing! I love how she colored the sails in the bright shades from the color inspiration!

How adorable are those Smooth Sailing critters in the yellow submarine?! Samantha caught the summery feel to take underwater with colorful fish from Keep on Swimming and You Are Sublime!

Wow! Jessica‘s card captures the beauty of a summer sky with Sunray Backdrop and some amazing ink blending! Prisma glitter adds the gorgeous sparkle to the rays!

Jenn‘s amazing card is a pretty good reflection of the Mood Board with all the fabulous color and fun images! She combined So Smooth, On the Beach, Happy Summer, Critters in the Jungle and the sun from Spring Showers to create this fun collage! She colored the letters from Quinn’s ABCs to follow the color inspiration!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll share our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 54 tomorrow!

Pawsome Birthday Card with Jenn!

Jenn joins us today with some adorable inspiration for this last weekend of the Perfect for Parties challenge! Her colorful card features 3 of her favorite guys: Mr. Harley, Gus and Jac!

To create the awesome background, Jenn die cut the Stitched Speech Bubble Backdrop from white cardstock then stamped the cute little confetti from Party Animal in rainbow shades of Lawn Fawn inks!

The sweet little felines from Say What? Pets were colored to look like Jenn’s cats then they got some glittery party hats (also from Party Animal)! The greeting is from Say What? Pets as well.

Samantha’s Taco ‘Bout Your Birthday Treat Box!

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a cute gift box that is inspired by the current “Perfect for Parties” challenge! I LOVE creating handmade cards, packaging, and decor for special occasions. I especially love creating projects for birthdays! You can customize all the different components to create a truly special experience for your friend or family member!

I created a simple but yet totally adorable Scalloped Treat Box that is perfect for a small gift or gift card! Birthday and tacos are such a fun combination. I used the Year Nine stamp set to decorate my box. The tiny cake from the Party Animal set is a perfect fun addition to the birthday scene. Also, how adorable would it be have shredded green paper inside the box that looks like lettuce! It would tie in perfectly with the taco theme.
