Franci’s Be Hap-pea Birthday Card

Hi there! Franci here with you today and I’m super excited to share this cute little Hap-pea Birthday interactive card. It’s inspired by the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge Perfect for Parties!

First of all I die cut the largest Stitched Rectangle, then I die cut all the elements to create my Magic Picture Changer mechanism, all out of white cardstock. I also die cut some Spring Fling patterned paper, I love this floral pattern and the pink and light blue ones are so pretty!

I stamped all the little Be Hap-pea peas and I masked them, then I inked on top with my Spiced Marmalade Distress ink to create a super fun and colorful background. I removed all the masks and colored the images with my Copic markers. I also added some details with a white gel pen

Then I stamped, colored and die cut more little happy peas and assembled my picture changer interactive mechanism. I decorated my white stitched rectangle by stamping little images from the same set and I layered my picture changer and patterned paper elements using foam adhesive.

Finally I added all the other images with a combo of Glue Tube and foam adhesive and I started playing with it! It’s soo super cute, love this kind of interactive card, it’s one of my faves!!

Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Adorable Party Name Tags with our Guest Designer, Mona!

We hope you will join us on Thursday for the start of our June Inspiration Week! We will be showcasing the rest of our Summer 2019 Release with Design Team inspiration, Intro Videos and lots of giveaways! It all happens at the Lawn Fawn blog, see you there!

Our amazing Guest Designer, Mona Toth is back today to share a set of adorable name tags that are Perfect for Parties!

Mona started the process with coloring. She stamped the images from Octopi my Heart, So Jelly and Year Six with Jet Black ink, then colored them with Copic Markers. If you would like to see her coloring tutorial check out her video HERE.

When the coloring was done she picked colorful papers from the Really Rainbow 6×6 paper pad to coordinate the cute critters.

Mona die cut 8 colored speech bubbles and 8 white speech bubbles from the Open Me coordinating die set to layer for each name tag.

In the end she adhered everything together with Lawn Fawn Glue Tube and personalized the cute tags with handwritten names.

Thank you so much for sharing these adorable party accessories with us today, Mona! And big thanks and hugs for being an awesome Guest Designer for the Perfect for Parties challenge!

The Perfect for Parties challenge will be open until Sunday, June 16th at 11:59PM ET. We are looking forward to seeing what you create! You can find the challenge post HERE!
