Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Critters Celebrate the Holidays Challenge! I came up with a bit of a crazy concept for this one, and I pulled together a whole bunch of stamp sets to bring it to life. I wanted to capture a critter celebration that I hadn’t really seen before, and decided on penguins at their disco Christmas party! I used Penguin Party, Snow Cool, Toboggan Together, Beary Happy Holidays, Cheesy Christmas, Really High Five, Winter Birds, Unicorn Picnic, and Simply Celebrate Hangouts. Whew! I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my focal panel, I cut down a piece of Bristol with the largest Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and blended on Distress Oxide Inks. I used Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar with the Sunray Background Stencil for the light from the disco ball and Salvaged Patina and Shaded Lilac and the Brick Stencil for the walls of the igloo and the ice floor. I also stamped a sentiment across the bottom in black ink. I glued the focal panel to a Hyacinth card base, then adhered my images with a mix of foam tape and liquid glue. And of course, I finished off the card with a lot of Stardust Stickles.

If you’d like to see the whole process of this card’s creation, you can check out the video tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I hope you enjoy it! We can’t wait to see what you create for our Critters Celebrate the Holidays Challenge. Have a really cool day!
