Hi Friends, Sam here! One of my favorite movies to watch is the Emperor’s New Groove! I have seen it countless times. One time when my back went out, I even watched it over and over and over while my
husband was at work, and I couldn’t get up to change the DVD player! (I’m aging myself, I know! lol) Despite having seen it so many times, it still cracks me up so hard that I cry! So it seemed perfect to use it as inspiration for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge!

I used the llama from Llama Tell You and the jar from How You Bean? to create my own potion
bottle! I colored it in with hot pinks and wild purples (the same color as the ‘poison’ in the movie,
of course). I actually used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color all of the images! The
kitten is from Purrfectly Wicked, and she was colored to mimic Yzma (who turns into a cute and
cuddly kitten at the end of the movie)!

I thought the Flippy Flappy die would be perfect to deliver the punchline of the joke! It’s just so
funny! I can hear Yzma saying it so clearly in my head!

I stamped the sentiments with Harold’s ABCs and heat embossed them with white embossing powder onto Black Licorice Cardstock.

Thank you so much for this delightful inspiration, Samantha!

Monochromatic Booyah Ghosts with Joyce

We invite you to share your Monochromatic Challenge projects by linking up your photos HERE! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers and focus on one color.  This challenge will be open until Sunday, October 16 at 11:59PM ET.

Joyce is here to inspire us with an adorable monochromatic card featuring the Booyah ghosts!

Joyce chose a color story based on shades of purple and it’s perfect for this Halloween card! She created the fun scene with Booyah ghosts and accessories from Purrfectly Wicked.

Her simple greeting is spelled using Henry’s ABCs. And to add some cool texture in the background, Joyce splattered watercolor paint in shades of purple.

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful inspiration with us, Joyce!

Christy’s Pumpkin Patch Card

We invite you to share your Awesome Autumn projects by linking up your photos HERE! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers and show us what you love about Autumn.  This challenge will be open until Sunday, October 2 at 11:59PM ET.

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Awesome Autumn Challenge! For this one I decided to make a fun pumpkin patch card, complete with black cats, and a full moon. I combined images from Purrfectly Wicked, Simply Celebrate Fall, Happy Harvest, and Jump for Joy. I stamped all the images in Jet Black ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I created a background by blending Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock that I’d die cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I used Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy, and Carved Pumpkin for the sky, and Bundled Sage for the Grass. Then I cut down a second piece with the Full Moon die and blended on Pumice Stone. Then I splattered both with some Liquid Stardust for a bit of shine.

I glued the background to the Fake Tan card base and added the moon with liquid glue, then popped the rest of the images up with foam tape, adding three leaves in the sky to give it some movement. Then I stamped a wind trail from Butterfly Kisses in Narwhal Ink behind the leaves in the sky. I stamped a sentiment from Simply Celebrate Fall in Jet Black Ink and trimmed it out with an Everyday Sentiment Banner. I also stamped on the inside of the card using Simply Fall Sentiments in Pumpkin Spice ink and finished with a bit of Platinum Stickles on the leaves.
