Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 34 – My Favorite Place

Happy Monday Fawnatics Friends! Thank you all so much for continuing to join us for our challenges! We get so excited every time we see a new card in the gallery! It’s time for a fresh new challenge! Think about your favorite place; maybe it’s a destination, your crafty space, the beach, the mountains, the desert. Or maybe it’s an event, a gathering of friends, a dream place! Let your imagination take you where it will this time around and share Your Favorite Place on a card, scrapbook page, travel journal, art piece, home decor, etc! Make sure to feature Lawn Fawn products and link your project at the end of this post. This challenge will be open Sunday August 19th at 11:59PM ET.
For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Let’s check out the favorite places of our amazing Design Team!

Samantha C. used our Stitched Mountain Borders to create a card with lovely snow-capped peaks. This serene mountain scene also features the Upon a Star foxes and the boulder from Mermaid for You. That starry night sky is amazing!

Samantha M is a beach girl and this beautiful card featuring Ahoy Matey gets that point across fabulously! That watercolor wave is just amazing! I love how Samantha added crystal sequins to make the wave sparkle!

Christy used Peekaboo Backdrop, Puffy Cloud Borders, Life is Good, Fintastic Friends and Lovable Legends to create small vignettes of an area in Germany that has captured her imagination! Be sure to check out her blog post for actual photos of the awesome castles!

Franci‘s favorite place is being outside in the snow during winter so she created some magical winter tags using Frosty Fairy Friends and Stitched Circle Tags!

Jessica is another ocean loving girl! She says, “my favorite place is in the water!  It’d just be an extra perk if I was a mermaid with a seahorse bestie!”

How fun that she used an Action Wobbler to add an interactive element to this special Mermaid for You card!

Joyce‘s favorite place is at home enjoying a movie or 2 with her friends! Who doesn’t love binge watching with good friends and lots of snacks? Her Screen Time card has me thinking about a fun evening at home!

After a long day of work, Karin‘s favorite place is soaking in a bubble bath! She used Rub-A-Dub-Dub to make this charming scene! Maybe she should keep it to just one rubber ducky if she wants it to be a relaxing time!

Jenn is another beach-loving girl, and she loves the beaches of Cape Cod! Her brilliant card could be part of a travel brochure! She combined the ocean sets Mermaid for You, Life is Good and You Are Sublime to create a beachy vibe. Quinn’s ABCs spell out her favorite place! I love how she used our retired set Wish You Were Here to show where her heart is at home on the map!

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next two weeks and of course our Featured Fawnatics and Random Winner for Challenge 33 tomorrow!

Here We Go A-Waddling Cuteness by Karin!

Challenge 17 – Color Inspiration ends this Sunday Dec 3 at 11:59PM PT

Karin used our Color Inspiration Board to add festive fun to her Here We Go A-Waddling tag card!

The cute little penguin scene is created on a Stitched Circle Tag! The little red  polka-dot bow is the perfect finish!

We can’t wait to see what you will share with us for the Color Inspiration Challenge! Link up your new card or crafty project by Sunday at 11:59PM PT.

A Forest Feast Scene on a Gift Tag!

We hope you have been enjoying this fun challenge theme! Our Create a Scene challenge is open until Sunday September 17 at 11:59 PM ET

A scene can be small enough to fit on a tag! Making cute little vignettes on tags and small gift cards is a fun and quick way to create a scene!

I thought I’d pop in to share a gift tag I made to accompany a birthday gift!

I love little projects like this where I can use lots of different supplies! I started out with the larger Stitched Circle Tag die cut from Knock on Wood 6×6 paper in teal and green then I used Forest Border to die cut the green tag. I stamped and colored images from our new Forest Feast and also from Party Animal with Copic markers then assembled the scene on the layered tag. To embellish a little more I added some branches from Large Wreath cut from more Knock on Wood 6×6 paper and finished with a bow (from Large Wreath). The sentiment, from Tiny Tag Sayings: Birthday is white embossed. I combined a bunch of different Lawn Trimmings cord in Fall colors to tie up the tag on the gift!

I hope you will join us for our Create a Scene Challenge!

Thanks for your visit! Happy Crafting!
