Catherine‘s festive and fun design celebrates Hanukkah in cute critter style! She started with Giant Happy Hanukkah, then she used Love You a Latke images with the adorable mice! She found additional images in the Holiday Party Animal set!

Additional sets used: A Creature Was Stirring (jelly doughnuts and mouse), Merry Mice, Crazy Antics, Virtual Friends Add-On and Year Nine (candles).

To create the background, Catherine used Snowflake Background Hot Foil Plate for the silvery snowflakes. Then she added a layer of stenciled snowflakes using White Stencil Paste.

Samantha used Giant Let it Snow in glittery cardstock, making it the star of her card! She added the Snow One Like You sledders in place of the “O” for extra cuteness with a Stitched Ripple Backdrop snowy hill. Then she framed the scene with Snow Flurries in more glitter cardstock!

Karin‘s gorgeous card is so creative as well! Starting with Giant Sending Big Hugs, she made a Christmas greeting by adding a white embossed sentiment! Then she added gorgeous accents with a Let it Shine Snowflakes background and flowers from Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On!

Not only did Samantha make her sentiment the star, but she also made it super fun and punny! Her custom greeting is a mix of Henry’s ABCs and Harold’s ABCs! She combined the cute dachshunds from Furry and Bright and Joy to All with Santa’s sleigh from Ho-Ho-Holidays, then she layered everything on a snowflake stenciled backdrop!

Joyce started with Giant Merry Christmas for her adorable holiday card! Then she brought in the happy snowmen from Build-A-Snowman. Her simple background featured ink-blending and stenciled snowflakes!

Christy‘s adorable cards are perfect for making multiples with a clever mix of sets! She started with a Knit Picky Winter background, then she added Giant Sending Big Hugs. I love how she used the Ugly and Bright critters in their festive sweaters in place of the “I”, adding a cozy sentiment too!

Hooray, it’s an awesome birthday card! Mimi created this sweet design with Giant Hooray and Special Delivery. She also used images from Toucan Do It, Tiny Birthday Friends, Hay There (tiny speech bubble), Year Nine and Coaster Critters!

Franci kept her design simple to create a beautiful winter-themed card! She got inky on a Stitched Snowflake Backdrop panel before layering on Giant Let it Snow. As a final touch she added some Nuvo Drops in Simple White to the snowflakes.

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 WEEKS and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 135 – Coffee, Tea & Treats tomorrow! Now it’s time to Make the Sentiment the Star!

Let’s see how Catherine was inspired by our Awesome Autumn challenge!

I love that Catherine used our Acorn House as school house for the happy Let’s Go Nuts squirrels! She used Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop in a clever way by cutting the trees apart to frame the house! She filled the sky with fluffy stenciled clouds.

To add all the fun details to this happy scene, Catherine borrowed the clock from Plan on It: Appointments and the bell from Here We Go A-Waddling! Jump for Joy and Den Sweet Den fill the scene with leaves and school books!

Now let’s see what our amazing Design Team created to inspire us!

Franci used our brand new You Autumn Know set to create her sweet and thoughtful card! I love how her beautiful coloring adds softness to traditional Fall colors!

Christy was inspired to create an adorable Halloween card featuring Purrfectly Wicked! She blended the background using Distress Oxide inks. How cute is that little Happy Harvest pumpkin on the shelf with the books and potions?!

Samantha C added glittery goodness to her Acorn House scene using the Autumn Sparkle cardstock pack. She combined images from So Owlsome, Jump for Joy and Let’s Go Nuts to create her whimsical thank you card!

Jessica made a fantastic shaker card using our new Window Frame die set! She used Let’s Go Nuts to create a fun scene outside the window and filled the shaker with leaves from Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait. She combined Oliver’s Stitched ABCs with a sentiment from Mermaid for You to add the glittery gold greeting!

Karin‘s gorgeous card sends a message of thankfulness! She used Fall Leaves Background Stencils to add the beautiful pattern to her card. Then she combined Scripty For You, die cut from Gold Metallic cardstock with a gold embossed sentiment from You Autumn Know.

Joyce created the most adorable birthday card featuring Acorn House! She used mushrooms from Oh Gnome! to set the scene for the Let’s Go Nuts squirrels. She ink blended the beautiful background along with the pretty falling leaves found in Acorn House. As a fun finishing touch, she added the sign from Build-A-Campsite to point the way to the nuts!

Samantha M used a beautifully unconventional Fall color palette to create her sweet encouragement card! She layered lots of Stitched Leaves with Big Acorn, finishing with a sentiment from Let’s Go Nuts!

Caly‘s fun card declares Fall is Here! The Let’s Go Nuts squirrels are busy storing up acorns and raking leaves, you know all those fun seasonal activities! She used Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop to anchor the action in this happy scene!

Mimi was inspired by the cool bokeh image in the Inspiration Board to create this amazing design! The Snow Much Fun and Den Sweet Den bears are celebrating the new year in style! Mimi used Let’s Bokeh to make a festive backdrop for her cheery scene! To make this an interactive card, Mimi used the Waving Pull-Tab Starter Set to make the bear wave his paws with the party accessories.

Now let’s check out the Happy New Year projects by our amazing Design Team!

The Really High Five critters are flyin’ by with Happy New Year wishes on Caly‘s fun design! She used the Puffy Cloud Backdrop: Portrait to create the that awesome background which she blended with pretty pastel inks! She used Oliver’s Stitched 123s in glittery gold and a Fancy Wavy Banner to stamped with a Winter Wavy Sayings sentiment to complete the happy greeting!

Franci’s mice are baking up a sweet wish for the new year! She combined A Creature Was Stirring and Baked with Love to create this lovely confection!

Samantha was inspired by the bokeh image in the inspiration board! She used Let’s Bokeh to create shiny clear embossed “bubbles” on a beautifully inked backdrop! The greeting is found in the Let’s Bokeh set as well.

Karin‘s card is so beautiful with its colorful Stitched Poinsettia and Oliver’s Stitched 123s in metallic gold! I love the pretty Quilted Backdrop behind the flower and all the fun layers!

Christy‘s beautiful interactive card is a wonderful mix of old and new! She created a Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On design featuring Ready Set Snow, Let It Shine papers and a greeting from Merry Messages!

Samantha used a festive color palette with shiny gold and gray to create this happy new year card! She combined Scripty Cheers with cute images from Party Animal with Metallic Gold and Shimmer cardstock. The star in the background is our classic Puffy Star Stackables cut from Cream Sprinkle and Shine Let It Shine paper!

Jessica‘s design features a Woodland Critter Hugger decked out in accessories from the Winter Add-On on a tall slimline card! When you open the critters arms the greeting combining Happy Happy Happy Add-On and Scripty Cheers is completed using Finley’s 123s!

Joyce created a lovely card with wishes for a year filled with happiness using Tree Before ‘n Afters! It is simply beautiful!

Jenn is the bringing the sparkly bling and bold bokeh in her new year design! She used Oliver’s Stitched ABCs and 123s to spell out the Chunky and Prisma Glitter sprinkled greeting! She finished the message on a Fancy Folded Banner!
