A Snowy Snow Globe Shaker with our Guest Designer, Isha!

Isha created a super cute shaker card using Ready Set Snow to inspire you for our What’s the Weather challenge!

We hope you will join the challenge! It will be open until Sunday, February 14th at 11:59PM ET.

Let’s let Isha tell us how she created her snowy shaker card!

I am so excited to be here on the blog today as a guest. Thank you so much Lawn Fawn for having me here.

I started by creating the background by stamping the snow stamp with Clear Embossing ink, sprinkle white embossing powder and heat set. Blend Abandoned Coral and Worn Lipstick Distress inks to create an ombrè look. Stamp the snowflake using Worn Lipstick ink using 1st and 2nd generation stamping technique, creating the variation in color. Finish by splattering some white and silver paint.

Stamp the Ready Set Snow snow globe onto the pattern paper using clear ink, heat emboss using white embossing powder. Cut the inside of the globe to create a window. (Note: you could die cut the snow globe using the Ready Set Snow Shaker Add-On die to create the window.)

Stamp the trees using various inks and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Die-cut the snowy backdrop pattern paper (from Snow Day Remix 6×6) using the snow globe die. Adhere 2 small white hills and adhere the trees. Adhere acetate behind the snow globe and create the shaker.

Stamp the snowman, color and die-cut. Stamp the sentiment and assemble the card together.

Thank you for dropping by! Isha

Big hugs and thanks to Isha for inspiring us with her wonderfully creative weather-themed projects! It has been wonderful having you join us for this challenge!
