Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 156 – Color Inspiration

We are all noticing the trees, foliage and flowers changing color either for Fall or Spring depending on where you are in the world, so it’s the perfect time for a Color Inspiration Challenge! Use the colors in the photo below to inspire your crafting for this challenge!

Here are the Lawn Fawn ink pads that coordinate with the challenge colors.

You are invited to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, September 17 at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters a challenge has a chance to be the random drawing winner! Woohoo!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges, you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

I’d like to give a shout out to our amazing Design Team! They inspire us every month with their creative ideas! No matter what challenge I throw at them, they always dazzle! Thank you, I appreciate you all so much!

Christy‘s colorful scene features the sunflowers of Our Friendship Grows and the adorable squirrels of Let’s Go Nuts! She took advantage of the color inspiration to create glorious colors on the You Autumn Know leaves, so beautiful! Her sentiment is from Scripty Autumn Sentiments!

There are more cute squirrels and more colorful leaves on Mimi‘s playful design too! She also used Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop and the new Build-A-Birdhouse die set! The Let’s Go Nuts sentiment is stamped on signs from Build-A-Campsite. Mimi cut them twice to shorten them, totally clever!

Catherine created a fun closet inside the Ta-Da! Diorama! She filled it with cute clothes in our color palette. She found the clothes in Little Bundle and Ugly and Bright, the shoes in Plan on It: Fitness, the luggage in Car Critters Road Trip Add-On and the hat in Dad + Me! Be sure to check out her blog post for more of the clever details.

Samantha is at her whimsical best with this card combining Oh Gnome and Let’s Go Nuts! The bright, bold colors she chose give the images an adorable, cartoony look!

Karin used soft pastel shades of the inspiration colors! Her birthday card is made with Tropical Leaves Backdrop, Spring Flowers Backdrop, Center Picture Window Card Heart Add-On (birds), Spring Sprig and Scripty Congrats!

I love Franci‘s little “Hedgehugs” frolicking in the Fall leaves! She used Stitched Borders and Vertical Rainbow Stripes Washi tape to frame the little vignette!

Samantha inked up our Stitched Leaves and gave them cute faces with the smileys in I Scream, You Scream! She added a punny sentiment from You Autumn Know on a Fancy Wavy Banner. Then she layered it all on a shiny hot-foiled woodgrain background! So much shine!

Joyce stamped brightly colored leaves from Jump for Joy to create a cheery tag! She used the Lawn Fawn inks that coordinate with the inspiration palette, stamping on Vanilla Malt cardstock. Then she cut the rest of the Scalloped Circle Gift Tag from Raspberry cardstock. That sweet sentiment is also found in Jump for Joy!

Jenn used Distress Re-inkers to watercolor the Stitched Leaves and Small Stitched Leaves in lovely Fall colors! She added glittery gold hearts from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag then stamped a message from Simply Sentiments. She finished her design with a splatter of metallic gold watercolor!

Look for more Design Team inspiration right here over the next 2 WEEKS and come back tomorrow when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 155 – 3D Cards!
