Franci’s Pizza-lover Card!

Hello there! Franci here with you today with a fun pizza lover card! Our Fun with Food challenge is open through Sunday, April 14 at 11:59PM ET.

To make this card I created my card base out of some white cardstock and added some dry embossed details with my scoring board, this simple design is my fave design technique lately! Then I stamped, colored and die cut my images from the Pizza my Heart and the Wild for You sets.

I created a soft blue background for my images with ink and a blending tool, then I arranged the images and attached them with some foam adhesive. I stamped my sentiment and I think the little pop of color on it is great! I love the Guava ink, it’s the perfect pink/red shade! Finally I stamped some little hearts here and there and added some sequins.

Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today!
Have a lovely day
franci 🙂

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 50 – Fun with Food!

It’s time for another Lawn Fawnatics challenge! We aren’t April fooling you, the new theme is Fun with Food! Lawn Fawn has a whole section of stamps with a food theme, from birthday cakes to sushi, lattes to BBQ, donuts to jelly beans and everything in between! Check out all the food-themed sets HERE. For this challenge we are looking for you to make food the star! Create a new project that features Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers and link it below! This challenge will be open until Sunday, April 14th at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Let’s check out the buffet of yummy Design Team inspiration!

Samantha C made a card that has me craving a pepperoni pizza! I guess the Yeti, Set, Go critter loves Pizza My Heart too!

Karin created a charming little cafe window for the Baked with Love cupcakes! The striped awning is from the Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On! She also used Quinn’s ABCs, Winter Skies, Here We Go A-Waddling and the Quilted Backdrop.

The Let’s Toast avocados are the stars of Joyce’s fun design! She used Spiffy Speckles and Really Rainbow Scallops to give her clean and simple card great color and pattern!

Everything is more fun with s’mores! Jessica combined Sweet Friends with a fun sentiment from Love You S’more to create this happy card!

Let’s taco ’bout Franci‘s adorable card using the Year Nine taco! A Birdie Told Me is an older set but those speech bubbles work perfectly on this adorable birthday card!

Jelly beans are food, right? Christy made a beautiful card for Easter using the Eggstra Special Easter set complete with jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs! I love the pretty background she created with Spiffy Speckles pastel papers!

Grace created a fabulous fiesta in a Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up! The avocados are from Let’s Toast and the tacos are from Year Nine. Then she got really creative and turned the Be Hap-pea pea pods into red chili peppers and the How You Bean? jelly beans became pinto beans!

Samantha M made a beautiful inky background for her tropical pineapples! This cool couple was made using our Aloha mini set along with that cute and punny sentiment!

Jenn created a festive and colorful birthday card featuring the Year Nine tacos! Her die cut Finley’s ABCs letters are inked with eye-catching colors!

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and of course we’ll share our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 49 tomorrow!

There are so many of your entries that we would love to share but the photos you’ve linked us to are either too small or they don’t have enough space around them to allow for a consistent look on the blog. Here are some tips for uploading photos that we can share as Featured Fawnatics!

-Set up your photo with some space all around your project to allow for us to crop as needed
-Make sure your photos are at least 1000 pixels wide (we prefer sharing photos that are uniform in size)
-Use a light color as the backdrop for your photos; this helps your cards and crafts to stand out

Thank you for sharing your amazing creativity with us each month. We appreciate it so much! If you have any questions about uploading photos, please leave them in the comments below.

Happy Crafting from your friends at Lawn Fawnatics!
