Catherine’s Awesome Halloween Peekaboo Pop-Up Card

We invite you to share your Awesome Autumn projects by linking up your photos HERE! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers and show us what you love about Autumn.  This challenge will be open until Sunday, October 2 at 11:59PM ET.

Catherine created an awesome Halloween card using the Peekaboo Pop-Up interactive die set. She added a fun and totally clever twist too! For this Peekaboo Pop-Up she didn’t cut the top piece down, instead she cut out the Window Frame. Check out the Intro to Peekaboo Pop-Up to learn more about this interactive die set. Click HERE.

Then she stenciled the pattern with Brick Stencil. She cut the Window Frame from Light Brown Woodgrain cardstock, attaching it over the window opening. And then she decorated the window with tendrils from Pumpkin House, the Spooky Fence Border and pumpkins from Happy Harvest!

Next, she created the yellow caution tape from Watercolor Wishes paper. She cut the ends using a Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables die. Then she stamped it with Harold’s ABCs and Plan on It: Holidays.

When the Peekaboo Pop-Up is opened, two Booyah ghosts pop into the window to join the Fangtastic Friends bats! Catherine doubled up the mechanism to have two images pop-up! That is so clever!

Thanks for sharing this amazing and totally Awesome Autumn inspiration, Catherine!

A Happy Fall Peekaboo Pop-Up Card with a Guest Designer

We hope you are having fun with new Change the Scene challenge! This challenge closes this Sunday, September 4th at 11:59PM ET. We are looking forward to seeing your creativity!

Today we have inspiration from a guest designer from Lawn Fawn HQ! Jessica Spencer is filling in for this 5th Wednesday of the month to bring you a delightful Change the Scene idea!

Jessica started with the new Peekaboo Pop-Up interactive die, cutting the main die from Let it Shine Starry Skies and Knit Picky Winter patterned papers. For more details about assembling the Peekaboo Pop-Up, check out the intro video HERE.

Then she created a charming Build-A-House, decorating it using Build-A-House Spring Add-On. She added the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait, combining it with the tree topper dies from Tree House.

Next, she added the sun from Spring Showers and smiley cloud from Stitched Rainbow to the pop-up piece. They will rise behind the house when the card is pulled open to change this happy scene. The only stamped element is the Simply Fall Sentiments greeting.

I love all the different textures, fall colors and the variety of cardstock and patterned paper that Jessica used.

Thanks so much for popping in with this super fun inspiration, Jessica!
