Samantha’s Magical Fairy Friends Card

Our new Inspiration Photo challenge is under way and we are looking forward to seeing how this fun image will inspire you! Click HERE for all the details about this challenge that will be open until Sunday, September 18 at 11:59PM ET.

Samantha joins us today with a whimsically adorable Fairy Friends card! She was inspired by the photo to create a magical scene!

This pretty scene starts with a Meadow Backdrop: Portrait in Peacock cardstock. Samantha layered this over a Blue Jay panel which she inked with Salvaged Patina and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink to mimic the look of the inspiration photo.

She added the cute fairies in shades of blue and green, along with stars and grass cut from sparkle cardstock to create this magical scene!

Thank you so much for this delightful inspiration, Samantha!

The Cutest Rainy Day with Samantha

Samantha‘s Rub-A-Dub-Dub ducks are enjoying the cutest rainy day! It’s adorable inspiration for our What’s the Weather challenge!

Samantha created a sweet card featuring the Rub-A-Dub-Dub ducks playing in a puddle on a rainy day! I love that they are using the Dandy Day dandelion flowers as umbrellas, that is just too cute!

To set the scene she started with Rainy Backdrop: Landscape and Mushroom Border. Then she added clouds and grass from Meadow Backdrop: Portrait and finished with a sweet and scripty Hello Border greeting!

Thank you for this adorable inspiration today, Samantha!

The What’s the Weather challenge will be open until Sunday, February 14 at 11:59PM ET so you still have time to get your weather-themed entries added to the challenge gallery. We can’t wait to see what you create!
