If you have been wanting to try a new crafty technique now is the time! Our new challenge is the perfect opportunity to experiment! Our “Try a New Technique” challenge will be open until Sunday March 4th at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we will keep the rules few!

Now let’s find out how our Design Team challenged themselves to try something new!

Christy decided to try her hand at making a Magic Color Slider card using Ahoy Matey!

Samantha tried coloring on kraft cardstock to create a fun vintage look on her Yay, Kites card design!

No-line watercolor was the new technique that Joyce tried with Hang in There and Love Letters!

Jessica used our soon-to-be-released Pivot Pop-Up die on her underwater interactive card!

Karin used Winter Penguin to do mirror stamping as her new technique!

Franci created a pair of fun cards with a masked shape stamping technique!

Samantha tried a new technique for making the Northern lights using Distress Oxide ink and Black Gesso!

Jenn created a happy party card with the soon-to-be-released set Easter Party! She used colored pencils over no-line watercolor as her new technique!

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and be sure to come back for our Featured Fawnatics and Random Winner from Challenge 22 tomorrow!

Samantha’s Sweet Valentine Treat Box!

Hey everyone, Samantha here! Today I am sharing a sweet treat box I created just in time for Valentine’s Day. I had so much fun coloring and adding expressions to the berry flavored frozen yogurt! I accented the yogurt with small pearl sprinkles to add dimension. I absolutely love paring the Scalloped Treat Box die with the Cole’s ABCs die, because the letters fit perfectly on the box!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!

We hope you will be inspired to join the Inky Fingers challenge! It will be open until Sunday, February 18th at 11:59PM ET.
