Let’s see how our amazing Design Team was inspired by this new theme!

Caly‘s beautiful card is an example of using the Card Sketch literally. She featured each element of the sketch using Stitched Rainbow for the arc, diagonal stripes and the placement of her heat embossed sentiment!

Christy‘s super fun design highlights the diagonal element of the sketch! She arranged the sloths, from Hang in There and I Like Naps on Tropical Vine Borders placed diagonally across her card. I love the tropical accents she added from Toucan Do It!

Samantha C kept her charming birthday pretty close to the sketch! She cleverly used the cute little taco from Year Nine to provide the arched element in the sketch.

Jessica stenciled the clouds on a diagonal and layered a Puffy Cloud Border on the diagonal as well. Her Stitched Rainbow is nestled between the clouds with the Spring Showers sun! She used some creative license with the sentiment adding Scripty Hello!

How clever is Joyce‘s super fun design! The S’more the Merrier critters and Build-A-Campsite tent are featured, anchored by the sentiment strip! I love how she brought in the diagonal element in using the splatters!

Franci‘s Happy Hibiscus design is so beautiful! The flowers take the place of the arch, combining with the diagonal element and sentiment banner of the Card Sketch.

Karin‘s adorable Unicorn Picnic card uses Stitched Rainbow and a sentiment strip, while omitting the diagonal! She used Watercolor Wishes Rainbow, featuring the polka dot rainbow paper as the background, layered on a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle.

Samantha‘s creative light up card gives a nod to the arch from the sketch using the Virtual Friends desk! Her fun graduation card uses Chibitronics to power up the computer! The cute kid is from Screen Time, the chair is found in Virtual Friends Add-On.

Jenn‘s glittery Stitched Rainbow has Pixie Dust Sparkle clouds for even more glitter! She used Simple Stripes: Diagonal inked in a pretty teal as the backdrop. Never one to be shy about using glitter, Jenn added Prisma glitter to the Quinn’s ABCs letters and cut Cole’s ABCs from glittery gold cardstock!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 105 – Fun with Food tomorrow! Now it’s time for you to get creative!

Let’s see how our amazing Design Team was inspired by this new theme!

Joyce assembled this fantastic summery scene using just die sets! She started with Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add-On to make the little beach cottage, it includes the seagull and driftwood. The cute crab is in part of the Palm Trees set. She set the beachy scene using Stitched Wave Borders and Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders.

Karin‘s Magic Iris card features the beachy images from On the Beach! She filled the iris with a sunny greeting from Magic Messages!

Franci‘s Shadow Box Card is filled with colorful Smooth Sailing images! I love how she added the clouds and seagulls on acetate strips so they appear to be in the “sky”!

Our fun sloths are getting in on the Summertime Fun! Samantha combined Hang in There, I Like Naps and Slow Down and Enjoy with Make Lemonade and a sentiment from Simply Celebrate Summer!

Who doesn’t love toasting marshmallows on the beach! This mermaid and crab borrowed some S’more the Merrier supplies to make the yummy treats! How amazing is Jessica‘s ocean sunset background?!

Caly combined two favorite summertime treats, watermelon and popsicles for her inspiration project! She used I Scream, You Scream to craft up these refreshing pops!

A bunch of our cute mice are enjoying at the beach in Samantha‘s clever design! She ink-blended the shoreline background adding splatters for lots of texture. She added beach accessories from Life is Good, Fintastic Friends and On the Beach for the mice to enjoy! The mice are from Bubbles of Joy, Dandy Day, Super Star, Love Poems and You’re Just My Type! You gotta love the one jumping into the waves!

Christy‘s beautiful Mermaid for You Flip-Flop mermaid is making a splash in her fantastic ink-blended ocean scene!

Jenn framed up her On the Beach scene using Tropical Leaves Backdrop! She added some images from Toucan Do It to drive home the tropical theme!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 103 – Little Things tomorrow!

Samantha’s Whimsical Crazy Antics Card

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a super cute summertime card that is inspired by the current Fun with Food challenge! I love creating scenes with animals. It is so much fun to combine different stamp sets together to create a whimsical project.

I absolutely love the new Crazy Antics stamp set, all of the little picnic foods are so adorable and the basket is ready to be filled with the delicious treats. The birds are enjoying their food while hanging out with their sloth friends from Hang in There and Slow Down and Enjoy. The watermelon from the Simply Celebrate Summer stamp set creates a fun  border to the picnic scene!

I layered a few clouds from the Simple Puffy Cloud Frames set on top of pattern paper from the Spring Fling Petite Paper Pack. The clouds create a subtle but really fun depth to the background. The grass from the Meadow Borders set is prefect for scenes because the height of the grass is very playful.

The Fun with Food challenge is open until Sunday, July at 11:59 EST. We look forward to seeing your entry! Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thanks so much for sharing with us today, Samantha! Your card is totally adorable and perfect inspiration for the current challenge!
