Franci’s Charming Hay There Card Set

Franci has some fabulous inspiration for our Card Sets challenge today! She created a super charming set of cards using Hay There and Mini Picture Frames!

Hi there! Franci here with a new project! I was inspired by the new challenge theme “card set” to create another cute set of happy cards!

I love the new Hay There stamp set so much!! All those farm critters are so sweet and cute! To create my set I first created all the coordinating card fronts using the second largest die from the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set. I die cut my rectangles in white cardstock then I stamped Gingham Backdrops on the top and bottom with a super super light blue ink. (You could use Moonstone ink with second-generation stamping).

Then I stamped all my critters, colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I also added some details with a white gel pen. I die cut all the frames from white and kraft cardstock using the new Mini Picture Frames die set. Then I colored all the white inside pieces sponging on Chipped Sapphire Distress ink to create a dark night sky effect, then I made it starry drawing little dots with a white gel pen.

I arranged all the elements onto my card to position my sentiment and then I stamped it with the same black ink used before on to all the three panels. Using a MISTI or a stamping platform is not necessary to create this set, but it helps a lot! Everything is so much quicker.. so you can create more!!

I glued all the elements down using liquid glue and foam adhesive to add interest and dimension to my cards.

It was so much fun creating them! And the design is simple so you can easily make a ton of these. Hope you like them and that you are inspired to create a card set and join the challenge!
Have a lovely day
Franci

Easter Goodie Bags by Joyce!

Hi Fawnatics Friends! I hope you are all having Fun with Dies! Our sweet Design Team member Joyce has some even sweeter Easter Goodie Bags to share today that I know will inspire you!

Joyce used cardstock in happy colors of Mermaid and Sticky Note to die cut the Goodie Bags then she added some pattern using Gingham Backdrops in Merman and Sunflower ink! Note: if you are going to recreate this, be sure to stamp the gingham design before assembling the Goodie Bag 🙂

Next she die cut the cute chicks and eggs from our Happy Hatchling Lawn Cuts die set using Watercolor Wishes papers! I love the sweet detail she added to the cheeks with a white gel pen!

The finishing touch is cute Tiny Tags with a Happy Easter greeting from Easter Party! Fill these cute Goodie Bags with candy and use them as decorations on your Easter holiday table or change the greeting and line up a bunch of them on the mantle to welcome Spring!

Thank you so much for sharing your delightful Goodie Bag design with us today, Joyce!
