Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 16 – Use Your Oldest Lawn Fawn Set!

For this challenge we invite you to create a new card, scrapbook page or crafty project that features your oldest Lawn Fawn set! For some of us that takes us back seven years ago to first release sets like Critters in the “Burbs! Maybe you’re a new Fawny fan and your oldest set is from a recent release, that’s what will make this challenge so fun! You can check for when your sets were released at lawnfawn.com by clicking on Shop and selecting Release Date. Have fun combining old with new Lawn Fawn stamps and dies! This new challenge will run until Sunday, November 19 at 11:59PM PT. We can’t wait to take this stroll down memory lane with you!

For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we will keep the rules few! Note: we’ve amended the rules a bit to limit entries to no more than 4 for each challenge.

Now let’s see what our amazing Design Team has created to inspire you!

Karin combined a sentiment from a newer set, Jump for Joy with a vintage set, Critters in the Forest!
Samantha M. shows off her lovely style on a card featuring the reindeer from Critters in the Snow!
Christy combined the adorable squirrel from Critters in the ‘Burbs with Scripty Joy and our new Birch Trees dies! She filled her beautiful shaker card with Chunky Glitter!
Jessica‘s sunny Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up design is filled with adorable Critters Down Under!
Samantha C created a fun way to announce a new address! Her card features retired sets You’ve Got Mail and Home Sweet Home along with some vintage patterned papers! The cute dog, squirrel and tree are from Critters in the ‘Burbs!

Just for fun our challenge admins, Jenn and Nancy went back into their photo archives to find their oldest set used on vintage card designs (it’s Critters in the ‘Burbs from Lawn Fawn’s first release in March 2010 for both)!

Jenn‘s clean and simple design is timeless and so adorable!
Nancy paired her critters and tree with clouds and a sentiment from a retired set, Partly Cloudy.

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and of course, we will have our Featured Fawnatics and Random Winner from Challenge 15 tomorrow!
