Hi friends it’s Samantha with some fun inspiration for you. The current challenge is all about summertime fun, and that’s all I needed to know so I could make a card about seashells and the beach!

I started by stamping the images from How You Bean? Seashell Add-On. Then I colored the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I decided to do the shells in lots of various shades of pinks! When they were dry; I added some details with a white gel pen and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I used Distress Inks to ink blend the beachy background! For the ground, I used Ground Espresso, Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber. Then I splattered the same colors on top, as well as white acrylic ink. for the waves, I used Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers.

Next, I used some more white acrylic ink and a dry brush, tapping the shoreline to add the foam to the wave! So fun!! It’s my favorite beachy card technique! I used the Sandy Beach Accents to add that extra special detail to the beach, and hidden shells.

I heat embossed the sentiment in white and onto some Black Licorice Cardstock and then popped it up with foam tape. I finished off the card with a sprinkling of clear sequins along the waterline and on some shells! So pretty!

Thank you so much for this cute inspiration, Samantha!
