Samantha’s Magical Fall Leaves Inspiration

Samantha has a beautiful card to inspire us today!

Autumn is my favorite season, and I love making cards for this cozy season! I stamped and colored the images from You Autumn Know, A Bug Deal, Bubbles of Joy and You’re Just My Type with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.


I did a whole lot of ink blending for the background starting with a white cardstock base. I used the new Autumn Breeze Stencil with Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade. I pressed my embossing ink pad through the stencil and then added some clear embossing powder on top and heat set it to lock in the color.


Then I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina for the sky. I also inked another panel with Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron before using the Stitched Hillside Borders to die cut out the layers.



Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then die cut it out with the Simple Wavy Banners dies.

Going to the pumpkin patch is a one of the most Awesome Autumn activities of this season! And Mimi‘s super clever scene captures the fun so well! She stamped the pumpkin from Happy Harvest, masked it then stamped over with the Little Snow Globe: Bear to create the bear holding a pumpkin. And she also featured Simply Celebrate Fall, Pick of the Patch, Pick of the Patch Add-On and Hay There Hayrides!


Mimi created the pumpkin patch on a Stitched Wavy Backdrop: Landscape making it easy to tuck the images in the rows. She also used the bears from Den Sweet Den and Snow Much Fun to round out the fun Awesome Autumn scene.

Mayra crafted this cozy vignette with warm color to create a beautiful Autumn card! She used Build-A-Drink Mug Add-On to make a pair of shaker mugs that she combined with Stitched Pumpkins and a little sunflower from Sunflower Border.


To make the background, Mayra started with a layer of Favorite Flannel Fall paper, then she layered Simple Stripes: Diagonal in kraft on top. Finally, she white embossed a greeting from Giant Thank You Messages. And she stamped fall sentiments from Hay There Hayrides and Forest Feast on the acetate shaker windows.
