Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 130 – Card Sketch

Happy Monday Friends! It’s time for another challenge! Let’s see where your creativity will take you with a new Card Sketch! Follow it exactly or use it to inspire your own creation. Have fun!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, August 14 at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters a challenge has a chance to be the random drawing winner! Woohoo!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges, you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

Joyce followed the Card Sketch with All the Clouds and a sprinkling of hearts from Heart Shaker Gift Tag. The cute paper airplane and sentiment are from Plane and Simple!

Christy combined Den Sweet Den with the Hive Five set to create a fun birthday card! She cleverly arranged the scene to follow the Card Sketch!

Samantha‘s magical design features Unicorn Picnic and a pretty watercolor backdrop! I love how she included glittery stars in her magical sketch design!

Mimi created a fun collage style design using the Hive Five Kit! She used some clever inking to mimic the Card Sketch!

Karin‘s cute Beary Rainy Day design is based loosely on the sketch. The cute hearts and cloud in the sky follow the diagonal pattern of the sketch.

Catherine‘s “super hero” dogs are out on an airplane wing to share birthday wishes! She added capes to the high-flying Simply Celebrate Critters! She used Sunray Background Stencil and then followed the sketch by adding colorful stars! Check out the diagram below to see how she created the airplane wing.

Let’s Bokeh, Acorn House, Mushroom House

Franci‘s cute and clever card follows the sketch with Fortune Teller Tabby! She included the diagonal feature using the Starry Skies die! I love how she turned the crystal ball into a shaker element filled with glitter!

Samantha‘s lovely design switches the direction of the sketch using Bubbles Stencil in the background! She combined mice from You Autumn Know and Dandy Day in this fun dandelion-themed design!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 129 – Fun with Food tomorrow! Now it’s time to get creative with the Card Sketch!
