Welcome to our First Challenge!

Lawn Fawn is so excited to announce our new challenge blog, Lawn Fawnatics! We will have two challenges each month with a happy theme to get you thinking creatively. We have assembled a super talented Design Team to inspire you! Please check out our Design Team page to meet our awesome designers and be sure to check out their blogs too!

For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we will keep the rules few!

So let’s get on to the challenge! Since March is Lawn Fawn’s birthday month it’s fitting that our first challenge has a birthday theme! Feel free to use the challenge badge when you post about the challenge on your blog.

Here is some lovely inspiration from our amazing Design Team!

Karin‘s cute card features Bicycle Built for You, Perfectly Plaid 6×6 paper and a Scalloped Rectangle Stackable

Kate‘s beautifully colored Winter Unicorns are adorable dancing above the Puffy Cloud Border!

Samantha C. color-coordinated her Meow You Doin’? kitties with the Perfectly Plaid paper; so sweet!

Jessica turned the Leafy Tree Backdrop and Stitched Trees upside down on her witty Hang in There birthday card!

Lots of cute little Lawn Fawn critters gathered to celebrate on Christy‘s adorable Scalloped Box Card Pop-up!

Samantha M created a totally clever Mermaid for You birthday card using the cuties from So Jelly as balloons!

    Happy birthday.

  3. I cannot thank you enough for this! I love Lawn Fawn and love playing with them! This is a perfect way to get me playing with them and using only Lawn Fawn! Thanks so much!

  4. Thanks so much for organizing this challenge blog. The inspiration and themed challenges really help get the mojo going and creativity inspired to design.

  5. SO very excited!! I can’t wait to whip you up a Birthday card or two…on that note, how many times can one enter the challenge?

    1. Hi Dolly! At this time there is no limit, it just needs to be something new that you have created and haven’t posted elsewhere. Thank you! Can’t wait to see what you created!

      1. Thanks for the clarification, Jenn! I knew Nancy said in her post it needed to be new projects, but then noticed some people were posting projects from as much as a year ago in the gallery. I was confused! LOL

        1. Totally can see how that would be confusing! We will be using the random number generator to choose a winner when the number is chosen we will make sure the entry follows the few rules we have. If it doesn’t we will use the number generator again 🙂

          1. Forgive me if this is a repeated question… Can the entries be completed for more than one challenge? (ie… Simon Says Stamp challenges). I understand there may be issues if you elect to share our entries, so I’d like to be sure to not mess up.

Thanks so much for the challenge! I have so much LF stuff but I’m intimidated to use it. This will be perfect for me.

          2. Hello Amanda, you can use the card for multiple challenges, we just ask that the one you enter in our challenge is a new one that hasn’t been posted before 🙂 Don’t be intimidated by Lawn Fawn… stamp out a few images color, cut and create- you will have so much fun you will never turn back!! 🙂

          3. Fantastic! Thank you Jenn. I adore LF products. I seem to always buy them but don’t use them as much as I buy them. My style is pretty clean and simple so I have to learn how to fit the cuteness into my style. I think I’m getting there! 🙂

So excited about this challenge blog.

  6. How exciting!!! I love each and every one of your creations! Can’t wait for this new and exciting challenge!

  8. So happy to see you’re doing challenges! Just added you to my Feedly. I don’t have a lot of LF products, but hopefully I can play along. Lots of great inspiration from the DT!

    1. No need to have a ton of Lawn Fawn, you just need to have at least one Lawn Fawn item on your item you submit- thank you!

  9. Hi, This is great! Unfortunately I don’t have a blog or photo gallery. Is there any other way to enter?

    1. Hi! Yes, you can upload your cards to instagram, flickr or even facebook. You would copy the link to that particular post and add it to the link up. Be sure that your account is public so that we will be able to see it! Can’t wait to see what you create!

  10. So exciting, I just got the announcement in my email inbox a minute ago! I knew there was a challenge blog out there and went to go find it over the week-end and discovered that it had ended (this was after having a blast at Stamp Fever for your anniversary party), so glad you are starting this up again. I get such a thrill out of seeing all the unique ways in which people use your stamps to make cards! (Kelly, I bought the Neenah Solar White Super Smooth 80lb weight, what a HUGE difference, thank you so much!!!)

  11. Oh Happy Dance Jenn! I am sooooo looking forward to the challenge – I love love Lawn fawn stamps and dies!!
