This puppy pack is having fun across the pond in Catherine‘s brilliant “happy summer” card! She featured Simply Celebrate Critters on a double decker bus made using the gift card die cut from Flippy Flappy and 1″ Stitched Squares. She used Plaid Stencils to create the Union Jack. Be sure to check out Catherine’s blog for more details.

Samantha created a fun “bears at the beach” scene! With bears from Den Sweet Den and Snow Much Fun she added in beachy images from On the Beach and Pool Party!

Karin‘s little critters from Fly High are off on a hot air balloon adventure! Her simply beautiful card also features Fancy Scalloped Rectangle and stenciled clouds.

Franci brought out an older favorite set, Life is Good to create two fun “critters on vacation” cards! Her cute critters from Say What? Pets are having fun at the coast!

Giant Hello Sunshine is the perfect greeting for Joyce‘s fantastic beach scene! She used the bear and beachy accessories from On the Beach for this relaxing critter holiday! I love the pink clouds and coordinating umbrella and beach ball!

Christy‘s Hive Five bees are enjoying a “stay-cation”, staying home at the hive to celebrate a summer birthday! She made this brilliant shaker card with Honeycomb Backdrop and Chunky and Prisma Glitter.

Samantha‘s vacationing unicorns are building a sandcastle at the beach in this happy scene! Sunray Backdrop layered over Watercolor Wishes paper provides the sunshine while Build-A-Castle is the impressive sand sculpture! Samantha added lots of sunny color with images from Unicorn Picnic, A Little Sparkle and On the Beach!

Mimi‘s mice are having a “swell” day hitting the waves! She combined mice from Just Plane Awesome, Sew Very Mice and Really High Five along with surfboards and shells from Beachy Christmas. I love how she replaced the paper airplane and embroidery hoop with surfboards using masking. She used Build-A-House and Stadium Seating to make the beach hut and Stitched Wave Borders for the surf.

What could be better than a sunny summer day spent at the park? Samantha shows us how the squirrels are having fun at the playground! She combined Let’s Play with squirrels from Let’s Go Nuts and Happy Hugs! She also used Grassy Hillside Border, Spring Showers and Yay, Kites!

One of my favorite things to do when the weather is hot is to jump in a pool! Christy clearly had the same idea with this amazing shaker card featuring Pool Party, On the Beach, Stitched Pond and Stitched Pond Frame! I love the Brick Stenciled patio and how she used All the Dots paper for the pool!

Joyce used our new Tiny Sports Friends set along with Peekaboo Backdrop to create a sports-themed design! Summer sports camps are so much fun, and these little athletes are having a ball!

Karin‘s sweet design features sunshine and flowering trees from Window Scene: Spring! The cute critters from Butterfly Kisses are enjoying a lovely sunny day!

Summer is a great time for swim meets! Catherine‘s super clever design features the cute mice from Simply Celebrate Critters with hand-drawn swim caps! She also included Stadium Seating so the mouse parents can cheer on their favorite swimmer! The pool is a shaker element backed with Stitched Ripple Backdrop. And I love how she added a Bunting Borders banner in All the Dots striped paper.

The critters from Ocean Shell-fie are having lots of fun in the summer sun! Franci used Stitched Wave Borders and Let’s Toast Pull-Tab so the octopus can ride the waves!

Samantha brought the Pool Party critters to the beach for some summertime fun! She used palm trees from Ahoy Matey along with Stitched Wave Borders to set the scene!

The ultimate in backyard summertime fun is a friendly water balloon competition! Mimi brings this to adorable life with the Scent with Love skunks! She used Paint Splatter Background Stencil and more paint splatters from Art Supplies as water and Henry’s ABCs for the greeting! She used Clear Glaze on the letters to make them look “soaked”! The rest of the sentiment is pieced together from a few Plan on It sets!

Here is a list of the clever ways she repurposed stamps from her stash to create all the amazing details for this happy scene: Rub-A-Dub-Dub: tub, bubbles as water balloons, also part of the faucet; Sweet Smiles: knob for the faucet; Beary Rainy Day: puddle and water splashes; Coaster Critters and Year Four: balloons; Happy Village and Winter Village chimney smoke: popped water balloons; Baked with Love: piping bag tip as the hose nozzle.

A favorite childhood memory is a cold, sweet popsicle on a hot summer day! Jenn brought this memory to life with these yummy I Scream, You Scream popsicles! They are inked to perfection in bright fruity colors. She added a greeting from Yay, Kites and the exclamation point from Big Scripty Words. Then she backed it all with woodgrain cardstock cut with Simple Stripes: Portrait.

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 126 – Beach vs Mountains tomorrow! Now it’s time for you to create some summertime fun!
