Orange you glad Samantha used orange for this awesome monochromatic Halloween card? She combined Stripes ‘n Sprinkles paper with a Watercolor Wishes Mushroom Border to set the stage for fun! She colored images from Pick of the Patch, Let’s Go Nuts, So Owlsome, Wild Wolves, Fangtastic Friends Add-On and Tea-rrific Day in shades of orange with lots of shading.

Like two peas in a pod, Mimi‘s pop-up card is so adorable! She combined patterned papers in shades of green to build the Platform Pop-Up, including the Platform Pop-Up Add-On. Then the cute peas and pods from Be Hap-pea were colored in bright green and arranged with Tropical Vine Borders and foliage from Secret Garden Window!

Catherine‘s purple Halloween card is just too much fun! She used Spooky Forest Backdrop, Stitched Pumpkins and Wolf Before ‘n Afters for the scene. Then she added hot foiled Starry Sky Background and a Louie’s ABCs greeting!

Joyce‘s “ghostly greetings” come in shades of black and gray! The border of ghosties is found in Simply Celebrate Fall and the sentiment is from Spooky Village. She added design elements with Lots of Stars Background Stencils and a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame.

Karin‘s beautiful card sends rosy hued birthday greetings! Her simple ink blended design features Giant Outlined Happy Birthday: Landscape!

Perfect for sending a joy-filled greeting, Franci‘s wintry card features Winter Birds, Spooky Forest Backdrop and Scripty Joy!

The squirrels from Let’s Go Nuts are sending a playful birthday greeting in rusty brown colors. Christy used the branches from Winter Birds to create this happy design! The background inking is a blend of Crackling Campfire and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink.

Samantha‘s beautiful Christmas card features Simple Stripes: Diagonal in shades of red from chili pepper to apricot! She lined up the colorful stripes before stenciling the Snowflake Trio with White Stencil Paste. Then she finished her design with an inky Scripty Wishes and sentiment from Den Sweet Den.

Jenn also used a mix of red shades in a pastel palette! Her lovely Halloween design features Simply Celebrate Fall, Celebration Scripty Sentiments, Moon and Stars Backdrop: Landscape, and stars from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag!

We will have more Design Team inspiration right here over the next 3 WEEKS and be sure to come back tomorrow when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 158 – Make the Sentiment the Star!

Christy‘s Halloween card features a stenciled moon with an eerie glow! She kept the colors to shades of gray blue, making the Fangtastic Friends bats and spiders a brighter shade so they will stand out.

Samantha‘s Halloween design is so fabulous in all the shades of purple! She started with the Brick Stencil, adding the design to Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper, then she added fun details from Purrfectly Wicked, Pick of the Patch and Just Add Glitter. And then the ghosts from Booyah and cute little birds from Fox Costumes Before ‘n Afters came out to play!

Karin took her monochromatic color cue from the cute Scent with Love skunk! He’s the perfect partner for the Giant Sending Big Hugs greeting!

Catherine‘s frosty color palette is perfect for the adorable Snowball Fight scene she created. I love the reflection on the “ice” of the Stitched Pond and the snow drifts she stenciled using the Hillside Stencils. As a finishing touch she added snow with the Snow Flurries Background Stencil and White and Fairy Dust Stencil Paste.

Samantha gave her lovely Autumn design a golden glow with Distress Oxide ink in Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade. Then she used Birch Tree Stencils to add texture with White Stencil Paste. She machine stitched some vellum Stitched Leaves, then added a sentiment from You Autumn Know.

Giant Happy Halloween and Fangtastic Friends pair up perfectly on Joyce‘s awesome gray design! I love how she combined warm and cool shades of gray on a Let it Shine Starry Skies background.

Mimi kept her Snowball Fight slimline scene to cool shades of blue violet. I love how she substituted snowballs for letters in her Henry’s ABCs greeting! In the background she created the snowy landscape with Over the Mountain Borders, and she also snuck in one of the cute Mice on Ice.

Franci‘s quick and clever card is so much fun! She added a beautiful gradient of pinky purple to a square panel, then cut out Giant Trick or Treat! Even the little spiders from Fangtastic Friends are sporting the pretty monochromatic color!

It’s the ghoul’s night out in fabulous teal! Combining Booyah and Giant Trick or Treat, Jenn created an amazing Halloween card! She stenciled the background with both Nighttime Sky Stencil and Starry Sky Stencil in Distress Oxide Uncharted Mariner. She also used Distress Ink in Hickory Smoke and Uncharted Mariner. How awesome is the glittery addition to the giant greeting!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 WEEKS and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 133 – Awesome Autumn tomorrow! Now it’s time to get monochromatic!
