Franci’s Sweet and Simple Wedding Cards!

Hi there! Franci here with you today with 2 cute wedding cards. Here in Italy lots of weddings are celebrated during the Summer so I was inspired to create these clean and simple cards. And I love weddings, there’s something so magical about them so I guess they are one of my favorite places to be as a guest!

For the first card I used the little critters from the Hedgehugs set and I had so much fun dressing them as a bride+ her groom! All the wedding accessorizes from the Bicycle Built for You sets coordinate so well with all the Lawn Fawn critters, you can have fun with all of them and customize your wedding cards with your favorite fun and cute images!

I kept the layout/design super simple and I added some dry embossed details to the front of my card with my scoring board, then I created a light background blending some Distress inks. I glued down my hedgehogs with a combo of liquid glue and foam tape, stamped my sentiment from the Happy Wedding set and I added some sequins to finish my card.

On to the next card! I used the Happy Wedding set and I chose the iconic cake plus the cute bird couple to put on the top. I decided to keep the card warm with a pale orange background and use all soft colors and pastels for the images.

I added the sentiment at the bottom and added the same finishing touch as I did for the first card. I also decorated the envelope by stamping the cake and hearts with the Sunflower and Carrot inks by Lawn Fawn.

I had so much fun creating these happy cards to celebrate love and I hope you feel inspired to create and join with us 🙂

Get ready for some inky-fingered fun! For Challenge 22, we want to see how you use inky techniques to add great color to your projects! This challenge will be open until Sunday, February 18 at 11:59PM ET.
