Lawn Fawnatics 227 – Fun with Food

We’ve got a massive craving coming on! That’s right, it’s time for our fan-favorite Fun with Food Challenge! Grab those food-related stamps and dies and head to the crafty kitchen to cook up some tasty treats — in the form of cards and papercraft projects. We can’t wait to see what you tempt us with!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your own creations at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils, and papers. This challenge will run for 3 weeks and be open until Sunday, September 6th, at 11:59 pm ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters has a chance to be the random winner! Yay!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects below, you give us permission to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

Mayra‘s darling card features the bear from the new Big Hugs Pop-Up. She’s about to help herself to a snack from the Build-A-Drink Mason Jar Jam and Honey Add-on. The bees from the Magic Iris Beehive Add-on don’t seem bothered in the slightest. They have plenty of honey to share!

It can get chilly in the evening up in the highlands. Samantha Casey‘s Highland Cows! are combating the cold and toasting themselves some tasty treats over the bonfire with S’more the Merrier!

Karin‘s card is farm fresh with her delectable Strawberry Patch layered over one of the Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables. The soft blue of the inlaid patterned paper really makes the reds and greens pop!

Samantha Mann‘s Shadow Box Card is a real treat with the avocados from Let’s Toast. She added arms and legs from Summer Friends and decked them out with Party Animal.

If you need a cool, refreshing sip of something tart and sweet, Joyce has you covered! She filled the Build-A-Drink Pitcher with yummy lemonade with a little help from Zesty Lemon and a sentiment from You’re the Zest.

Fruitful Friends are the stars of Franci‘s card! She framed them up with a Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the Flippin’ Awesome Add-on

Mimi‘s Pick of the Patch squirrels have gotten loose in the kitchen and helped themselves to a little PB & J! Her Build-A-Drink Mason Jars are decorated with the Build-A-Drink Mason Jar Jam and Honey Add-on. Can you guess how she created the slices of bread? It’s the Stitched Dens! And her peanut butter smear is the ice from Beary Happy Holidays!

Christy is Soy Happy to share her sushi card. Her dumplings sit in a steamer basket from Build-A-Barrel: Apple. She also brought in Year Thirteen and Year Sixteen to complete her satisfying scene.
