Lawn Fawnatics 226 – Fall/Back to School Inspiration Board

Ready or not, it’s almost time to pick up those pencils and packed lunches and head back to school! The Fall Season is just around the corner, and we’re welcoming it with a Fall/Back to School Inspiration Board. Allow the images or color palette to inspire you, or simply create any card or project with a Fall or back-to-school theme.

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your own creations at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils, and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, August 16th, at 11:59 pm ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters has a chance to be the random winner! Yay!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects below, you give us permission to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

Mimi is giving us those first-day vibes with her ingenious interactive card! Her Build-A-House school door opens with a Knock, Knock, Who’s There mechanism to reveal the teacher welcoming her students upon arrival.

In typical Mimi fashion, she built her school bus from spare parts, using a bunch of die sets, including Over the Rainbow, Shadow Box Card Fireplace Add-on, Build-A-Gumball Machine, and the Pop-Up Desk.

The Fruitful Friends are tops in Samantha Mann‘s book! She combined them with Little Woodland Library and Little Woodland Library Friends. A chalkboard from Simply Celebrate Graduation and a Paper Clips embellishment give this card its finishing touches!

Franci‘s quokkas are having the time of their lives frolicking through the fall leaves. She paired Quokka My World with Jump for Joy on her clean and simple scene.

Back-to-school is the perfect time to make bookmarks! Karin created a custom background for her Stitched Bookmark using the Spring Flowers Stencils. An image from Cozy Cats and some Henry’s ABCs really make the grade!

Band class is back in session on Samantha Casey‘s card! Her Critter Concert stage is one of the Simply Celebrate Hangouts while You Autumn Know brings the Fall vibes.

Mayra‘s Build-A-Bee hive is hopping with activity as the leaves change color and begin to fall. Inside the doorway, you can spot some details from the Honeycomb Stencil, and her large Magic Messages sentiment has a fun chalkboard finish.

Joyce went for a similar idea to Karin’s, except her mini bookmark is created using the Tassel Tag. She added a matching background using the Autumn Breeze Stencil.

Christy captures the Fall season with feminine flair. She combined one of the Highland Cows! with other favorite Fall sets, including Happy Harvest, You Crow Girl, and the Pick of the Patch Add-on. You can find the video tutorial HERE on her YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty.
